“My wife and I dined here in August 2025 and were served by the very witty and extremely professional Gawl.The food was very tasty, the experience is truly unique and like nothing we have done before. When you read its pitch black, it really is. Like you can hold your own hand an inch in front of your face and you still will not see it. This did not put us off in any way, but please do bear it in mind before booking. If it's not for you, that's ok, just know what you are signing up to. Before you enter the room they do take for safekeeping anything that can be reflective (like a wristwatch), but not things like diamond earrings and/or rings (so image how dark it really is if they are not worried about the diamond absorbing and reflecting the light back)! Also, if you need to, you can leave the dark dining space and visit the restroom during the dining experience, but we didn't as that would have "broke up" the atmosphere of truly dining in the dark. All in all, I highly recommend this to anyone who does not have issues with "the dark". I would not repeat the experience as it really is the element of surprise which made it so fascinating for us (like how will you "see" what you are eating - spoiler alert - you dont, and sometimes have to resort to helping yourself with your hands to ensure food is on the cutlery, which sounds counterintuitive, I know!), but I am very happy we did it once. Also, we were told that the menu changes every six months or so, so you can visit twice a year to surprise your taste palette, if you would like. In summary, I would definitely recommend at least one visit in your life and hopefully you get Gawl who made the whole two plus hours fly by! P.S. 1 I have not taken any photos so not to spoil your experiences. P.S.2. Kudos to the restaurant owners for employing blind and visually impiared people. On a very serious note, this restaurant experiences is really exceptionally informative of what it is like for blind and visually impaired people. Of course, the fact that the customer gets to return to their everyday life, whilst those who are blind or visually impaired do not leave this "darkness" is not lost on anyone who gives it a bit of a thought. Really makes you appreciate the "givens" in life!”

“We used Van Butler to move in 2021 and they couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and efficient. Everything was packed up safely with care and in a surprisingly short time. The move was a bit tricky as parking near our new flat is terrible and there were several winding staircases and a door that needed to be removed; none of this phased them in the slightest. “Fantastic unisex Hairdressers/Barbershop offering a 5⭐️ haircutting experience. The shop is super tidy and clean, with friendly and welcoming staff members and both Barbers are very knowledgable with good hair cutting experience and barbering equipment. I regularly get my haircut/fade from Simon barber and he always does a great job. I would fully recommend anyone new to the shop.”

Professional, courteous, artistically innovative and an all-round top drawer bloke. The team are friendly, funny, welcoming and if you are good at crosswords, you’ll be tapped up. “Where to begin! This is hands down our favourite restaurant in all of London, and we love Michelin-starred spots and would like to think of ourselves as proper foodies. The attention to detail from the moment you step inside is just incredible. You’re greeted by none other than Sandia Chang herself, and welcomed into the bar area with a lovely drink and some amuse-bouche to start the experience. It already feels special by then. You get the chance to chat with some of the team, get a glimpse of the menu, and start soaking in the atmosphere. I love that they’ve recently tweaked their offering a bit. There’s now a shorter and a longer menu, which is great as it opens the door for more people to try it, even if they’re not going for the full tasting experience. After around 20 to 30 minutes, you’re moved into the main dining area, the kitchen itself, surrounded by a counter table where the real magic happens. It’s like watching a symphony of chefs, all working together to serve you the most memorable dinner. You get to interact with them if you feel like it. They're incredibly warm, happy to chat and answer your questions, but also never pushy. It’s really up to you how involved you want to be, which I really appreciate. Seeing James Knappett in action alongside his brilliant team is amazing. The level of passion for food and hospitality is so obvious, it’s infectious. Both times we’ve been, our favourite dish has been the lobster, but honestly, there are so many wonderful surprises along the way. The wine pairings are fantastic, perfectly chosen by Sandia, and we even ended with a beautifully paired cider, which was such a delightful surprise. We’ve had dinner here twice now, in different seasons and years, and we still can’t stop thinking about it. Just an unforgettable place. Thank you so, so much to the whole team, we’re definitely coming back! PS: I had to pick a few photos as I had too many and don't want to ruin the surprise.”

“This restaurant offers a pleasant take on modern Italian food. The service was fast and friendly and the food good. I tried a starter and pizza. My bruschetta starter was nice, but the tomatoes were a bit bland for bruschetta (that might be a seasonal problem). The pizza was flavourful with a good texture. The La burrata pizza what well balanced with the creamy mozzarella ball complementing them salty meat and fresh tasting rocket. Overall, this is the second time we’ve been back and both times we’re good. I’d recommend Unico28 if you’re looking for a good alternative to the other Italian restaurants in the area,”
