“The food here was so good! I’ve tried a few Greek places recently and they were a bit of a letdown, but this might honestly be the best Greek spot I’ve been to. Everything was delicious and fresh. Kosta and the team were super nice — we even had a great chat while waiting for our food. You can really tell they care about what they do. Highly recommend!”

“A wonderful pub with fantastic food. Been here a few times and it never disappoints. The owners /staff are attentive and very welcoming. They have a great variety of beers, spirits and authentic Japanese sake and gins etc and also green tea, coffee for the non beer drinkers. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I’ve taken a few friends and family here and they’re bowled over with the food. My Japanese friend have said it’s the best tempura she has had in the UK. Looking forward to the expansion to the beer garden in the back as well.”

The fries were golden and crispy, the garlic bread was perfectly buttery with just the right amount of bite — but the star of the show was the Fresh Boy Pizza. That pesto? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavour. Every bite was a winner. You can tell real care goes into their food. Can’t wait to order again”

“Staying one night in Manchester, and saw this Caribbean place, so had to give it a try, I got the rice and peas with goat curry, and a lamb patty. The food tasted so good! I got the normal portion which was just right, the mutton just fell apart it was so tender, I would highly recommend this place for your Caribbean fix. The music in the place has be wanting to move, the only downfall was that I had a long walk back to my hotel, but the food was worth the walk”

“We ate in here this evening and it was the best Thai meal we’ve ever had. Went for the salt and pepper ribs and spring rolls to start. The meat on the ribs fell off the bone and the spring rolls were so fresh. The mains were stunning too, salt and pepper chicken with rice and crispy pork, along with the signature loaded fries (topped with chicken and steak slices and leathered in a lovely spicy mayo, barbecue sauce, fresh chillis and spring onion). It was enough to feed four, honestly the portions are huge. It’s a shame not more people were in, because this place is so nice and the price is reasonable for excellent and fresh food. The service is a little slow, but the lady waiting on was lovely and I suppose may have been helping out in the kitchen. The chef also came out when we were leaving to have a chat with us, who was really friendly and welcoming. Overall a lovely meal and will definitely go back.”

“Helen street chippy is a fantastic chip shop in peel green. Located on the corner on Helen street. Parking is street parking only but I've never had an issue finding a place. The staff are nice. There's a cold drinks fridge at an average price. The chips are lovely. Two types of curry sauce. Always hot and tasty food. Would recommend and I'm a regular customer here”

“Popped in the first time last week, then again this week. Their food especially chips (not fries) are massive and crispy and lovely MUCH better than chip shop ones.. imagine chip shop sized but French crisp fried! All food is clean and hot! (not greasy) properly cooked and delicious. And a breakfast for 5.50 is amazing! My new hangout!”

Very generous portion sizes which are a bonus when the quality of the food is this good. As you can see in the pic the sweet and sour chicken melts in the mouth, very generous portions such as the salt and pepper chicken which is our favourite starter, super friendly and efficient staff and very reasonable prices, cannot recommend highly enough! “Dropped in here after night shift, can't go to bed without a hot meal. The kebabs are tasty!!! Good quality donner meat, nan bread is a pizza base style bread but always freshly cooked. I tried the hot chilli sauce which has a good fiery kick to it! All makes to a great kebab!”

“The food is incredibly tasty. All meat I've had from here has not had any fat on and is absolutely quality food. The portions are big, especially the Kebabs they are very filling with nice tender meat all through, no gaps in the bread. Sauces are flavourful and salad is always a nice combination amount, doesn't taste watery it's juicy. Food always taste fresh and delicious. The pricing is excellent and very generous for the quality of the amazing food. The portions are impressive and will hit the spot. Overall I would recommend this food to anyone and definitely one of the best tasting takeouts I've had. The service is top notch, the service is very polite and respectful. I don't have any complaints. It is very tidy and clean. You can tell preparation for each meal they make it catered to with detail as you can see the kitchen in the back were all is prepared.. They cooks are also very respectful, tidy and amazing at making the food taste delicious!!! Treat others with respect and you shall receive it back. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my food. The food has always been hot and wrapped well and given with kindness. Thank you!”

I'm also in love with the Old Delhi Style Butter chicken - the chicken is so tender and the sauce is absolutely addictive. Really soft and flavourful naan as well.”

The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.”
