“We stumbled upon this charming Belgian-style bar while out for a few drinks in Altrincham with my wife—and what a fantastic find! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a traditional Belgian vibe that adds real character. The drinks were excellent, and although we didn’t try the food (we’d already eaten), it looked delicious and well-presented. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!”

“Went to Piccadilly Garden with friends then just searched cafe on Google map, found this cafe and walked in We ordered Benedict and French toast, the Benedict is surprisingly nice, its wish sweet potato hash browns mixed with bacon bits and red pepper. I think it’s an interesting combination, I never see anything similar in other brunch spots. I personally don’t eat red peppers, this combination even caught my stomach. And I think the Holland sauce is quite nice, better than other places I’ve tried. Classic french toast is okay, normal I’d say. Also ordered berries mocktails it tastes fresh I like it, £5 is very reasonable Have to shout out to Tyler for the great service, very lovely and considerate. We had a whole excellent brunch experience here, and would always love to come back”

“Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”

“Excellent service, polite and helpful staff at the reception. My room was superb. I paid a bit extras for a bigger room with a view, but was worth it for the comfort and relaxation. Overall clean space and nice shower. Will definitely visit again.”

“Attended Suburban legends gig on 15 March As a disabled person I had high anxiety about going to the venue for the first time, however, the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Welcomed outside by a lovely gent who walked us into the venue via the ramp access to the left of the venue and then made sure we were good and knew where bar / toilets etc where A small barriered off space to the right of the stage with basic dining chairs for those who are able to move around which can be moved for those with wheelchairs etc A really nice touch is above the area is a small speaker which gives you excellent sound (for me this would mean 6 stars for the thought gone into by the venue!) Accessable toilet was nice and clean Will certainly return to this venue !!!”

“We are regular customers with Cheers and always get home delivery, we have had one bad experience with the food. As regular customers, we know what we enjoy, and one time it just wasn’t tasteful, chips were frozen and the food standard was very poor. We considered never ordering again, but Micheal has absolutely rectified any doubts we ever had about ordering again. He personally took time to ensure if we were to order again, the food would be to high standards. I just want to say, they have absolutely smashed it out of the park this time. Everything was so perfect, the food was delivered personally, HOT and FRESH! Our usual order was even better than the usual standards, everything had a little extra and we are so so happy that the Bistro is back to the high standards we enjoy so much. “A trip down memory lane to a beautiful spring day following a beautiful Bachata workshop hosted by factory international based in Manchester; led to an impromptu dinner at Suki Suki- famously known for their ramen! Lucky to be sat upstairs without a reservation, the interior of the restaurant carries a beautiful intimacy perfect for an escape from the bustle and hustle of the streets of deansgate. Opting to try other menu options, our table order included(from left to right): Yaki Udon with pork as the protein of choice 10/10- perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice and the pork was just perfect. Bang bang chicken served with the egg noodle was delightful, with the sweet and spicy blended and perfectly balanced. 10/10 Served with salt and pepper chips which you cannot go wrong with!also 10/10 The food was delicious, definitely a welcomed surprise as my sister and I were absolutely famished. The portions were large and perfect for sharing. Whether you are a solo diner, table for 2/4/6, it is modelled to accommodate any group size. Now, I would advise to book in advance if you want to be seated upstairs, the intimacy it offers is worth it. Will I be coming back to try more on the menu? Yes yes and yes! I appreciated how fast the service was considering it was a full room, the staff were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed! I haven’t got the receipt this time, but the prices for the quality served 100% worth it and cost about £37.29- this includes a glass of white wine. Also if you are like us and end up being full with some food left on your plate, don’t be shy to ask the staff for takeout! Enjoy.”

“We were looking for a breakfast in Denton, we found this little gem just opposite Lidl, oh what a great find it was! Smiling owner, very cosy and making you wanna go back! Very reasonably priced and menus sticking to your hands not because they were dirty but because they’re so nice to touch and browse! We’ll be definitely back for the roast and other menu items (pizza etc). Some music (Italian maybe?) would be nice.”

He cooks a Sunday roast that is nothing short of exceptional. And it’s not just the roast—every dish I’ve had here has been fantastic. You can tell there’s real passion behind every plate. I come here regularly, whether it’s for a meal, a drink with friends, or—let’s be honest—sometimes more than one drink! It’s always a great experience. This is the first time I’ve taken the time to write a review, not because I didn’t want to, but because I never felt the need—Long Bar speaks for itself. But I do think it’s important to acknowledge the people who put passion into what they do, and Chef Dave and the whole team here deserve all the recognition. As a proud Bramhall local and a small business owner myself, I believe in supporting our village’s businesses. Places like Long Bar make all the difference in creating a welcoming community. For starters we had calamari, focaccia and olives - all were delicious! Our mains, the pizza and steak were equally yummy. The highlight of the evening for me was when the waiters brought out a cake and sang happy birthday.
