“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“I visited Bombay to Mumbai last week and the experience was fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing, specially the chaat and starters were delicious and full of authentic flavors. The customer service was excellent, the staff were attentive and welcoming. The owners are very nice and friendly, which made the visit even more enjoyable. “The place to go in Royton - and Oldham for that matter - for craft beer. The menu is always changing with great choices from various breweries from across the UK. The atmosphere is always good and you're always given a friendly welcome. The food is great too, be it the in-house burgers or the various street food vendors that come into the kitchen, too.”

“I attended a 50th birthday in the Cuckoo space. Very intimate and well presented space. We caught the tram to Prestwich and it was only a five minute walk away. Recommended for low key parties”

“Strangely closed looking pub near the train station with a couple of ales on and some good crisps (Inc lancashire sauce!) The beer we had was top quality and this place is well worth a visit for the ales and plane spotting”

“We hosted my partner's 30th here over the weekend and I cannot say a big enough thank you to the Tap! From start to finish, everyone was incredible. Paul was super helpful and responsive and the bar staff were amazing. We all had a great time, thanks so much!”

“Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”
