“I had an idea in my head that I wanted self harm scars covered up for a while with a tattoo and I wanted the tattoo to have meaning to my mental health battle too. I went in to give an idea of what I wanted and Chloe has absolutely smashed it out of the park. Whilst Chloe mainly specialises in more none text base pieces (art work etc), she still does an incredible job with text based pieces and having 0 clue with how I wanted my piece to look, her creativity meant I didn't have to worry whatsoever. I have a great piece now and I'm looking forward to going back to get the next details added to it. The owner of the studio Ash is a legend too and both are great to chat to and have a laugh with. Ash also does some incredible pieces and I could recommend either Ash or Chloe to anyone.”

“They’ve started doing burger deliveries and the burgers are fantastic! Think 5 guys meets GBK. I got a double Eminem burger, it came slightly pink in the middle...just how I like it. I’ll be satisfying all my burger cravings from here for now on! Chips were also nice, draught beer vacation was lovely. I’ll give the halloumi fries a miss next time they weren’t great - my only complaint”

“Popped in at last minute for some anniversary flowers. The place looked empty but the owner had just reopened after a holiday and had plenty in the back - do not be put off if the place looks quiet. The flowers were put together specifically for me within 15 minutes after a quick chat about what my wife liked. They were great when finished and my wife was very impressed. Have seen a few folk complaining about the prices. You are paying for a bespoke service - I have seen bunches in tesco/m&s for £30. Go there if you want to pay less. We first discovered stockport for afternoon drinking ( before lockdown) from a trip out with our local historian and Sentinel writer Mervyn Edwards.. we fell in love with the preserved Victorian history and friendly locals...since then we travel from stoke and stay over regularly. This visit I particularly wanted to discover the Star and Garter. Stunning building...on entrance we were warmly welcomed by barman Craig.. it was fascinating to learn about the pubs history and Craig's family working within the pub trade for generations. Of course we enjoyed Robinsons Iron Maiden bitter.. a perfect pint..a creamy head all the way down the glass! A cash only pub... my husband always supports Cash is King ! A lovely traditional friendly local pub.. we'll definitely visit again.”

“I am so impressed with the quality, comfort and service. We bought the Newbury sofa + pouffe in Avelino fabric and we're finally comfortable for the first time in 6 years. We went to the showroom twice to sit on it and it was a very chilled experience as no one was hassling us like in other stores. We waited 7 weeks and it was a very straightforward experience; the deposit and the remainder before delivery. The sofa was very competitively priced too. Absolutely chuffed with it.”

“We needed a new kitchen as ours had been in since 1995 We saw Wren had offers on so made an appointment to get started. We had a few appointments to select the kitchen that we wanted also for the measuring up. We chose a lovely cashmere colour for the units which we are really pleased with. The fitter came and gave us an estate as to how much it would cost to fit it all again we were pleased with the estimate. The work took longer than expected due to 2 items which were damaged and we had to wait a week for replacements The replacements arrived on time but had to wait for the fitter to come back as he was doing another job. He did what he could but then he didn't have enough up stand so again we had to order some and that was another week. We are very pleased with the kitchen and all 6 new appliances and the flooring We would recommend Wren”
