“Had our Christmas do here on Friday. Staff were SO lovely and efficient, food was phenomenal. The vegan mushroom pie was excellent, plenty of extra gravy provided. Really nice night thank you.”

“Fantastic old historic pub just refurbished and reopened underneath the famous Stockport Viaduct, the largest brick-only construction in the world. They serve Boddingtons and many other great cask conditioned ales. Recommended.”

“This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”

“I've wanted to come here for so long and finally came tonight to celebrate our 4th anniversary. The service we received was exceptional. The food was divine - great cocktails, unlimited sides and amazing bbq meats. I was worried I would be stalking all the servers for more meat but thankfully they kept coming over. What impressed me the most was that they gave us complimentary champagne and all the servers congratulated us on our anniversary, even the manager. Amazing experience and can't wait to come back. “I go here once a month for The Bowling Green Writers' Group and it is awesome. They have alcohol-free lager on tap, the food is incredible, and the staff are lovely, especially the tall barman in the evenings who goes above and beyond for every customer. There's a great atmosphere and they do live music on Saturdays. Highly recommended as a relaxed, friendly pub. It also has a stunning beer garden!”

The Smash Burgers are very good and the Grilled Chicken has a very unique flavour compared to others which I have tried in Manchester. I would highly recommend this place if your in the Whitefield area.”

“Pleasantly surprised by our visit. We were a party of 5 (3 generations) having 2 or 3 courses each and everyone enjoyed their food. I particularly loved my fajitas and those who didn't like spicy food were well catered for (eg seabass). Staff were great, correctly reading our group dynamics, to add to the party atmosphere.”

“Time gap is absolutely wonderful! This was the first time I have ever had Chinese food before and boy will I have it again! I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which tasted just like my mothers cooking and it brought tears to my eye. I also had the salt and pepper chips which was also scintillating. I also had the duck spring rolls which wasn't my forte but it was also pretty good despite me not liking duck much. I had a lovely conversation with the cashier called hugo, he recommended me the spring rolls and I also loved the free prawn crackers and the OK sauce was also delicious. Overall, I would definitely come again and I am absolutely recommending this place to everyone I know”

“The chips here are the frozen type in the fryer but they are my favourite type so this place is already a win there. Sometimes they cook the chips until crispy and golden and oh lord they are heavenly. The salt and pepper chips from here when they're golden and crispy are incredible. I've recommended this place to a bunch of people. My only issue is the free food item when you spend X amount. They should really ask which free food item customers would like then you don't end up binning something you don't like. We don't like spring rolls but we do like fortune cookies or prawn crackers. We always bin the spring rolls.”

“Super workplace coffee shop in Exchange Quay. Easy to drop in for coffee with a group - never a long wait and very quick service. Great quality coffee, and 50p off when using a reusable coffee cup. Many other options such as alternative lattes and teas. Also new cakes & pastries available each week. Small seating space downstairs, or large benches and sofas for groups upstairs.”

“Visited 29/04/2024, at lunch time parking was available in the limited spots at front of the building. Go in and there is the restaurant part to the right as you go in. The seabass on the potato dauphinois and green beans was very tasty, the side of salt and pepper chips was also nice. Food came quickly and both the staff looking after the group were very attentive and friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Fantastic Takeaway. Great food and professional service. Having recently experienced awful service from a DIFFERENT local takeaway - it made me appreciate how good Aroma are. Only one issue on numerous occasions ordering from here, and a full refund was given and fresh food cooked and sent out. Owner even delivered the food himself and came to apologise for the order going missing. The food is fab, best I've had since our favourite restaurant closed down in Stockport. Really tasty, not just packed with chilli - the flavours are great. Can't recommend enough.”
