“We visited for the first time on Saturday 8th November 2025 and we were served by Simona. She couldn’t have been more attentive. The service provided was excellent and right up there with the food. I had the arancini and the carbonara with sides of tenderstem broccoli and rocket. My partner had the scarpetta and lasagne. We both really enjoyed the food, particularly the dishes I picked. Simona kindly made me aware that the carbonara was traditional and not cooked with cream, which is what I expected but I do know people who have eaten a version of “carbonara” with cream who would definitely appreciate this information for their knowledge and to be aware of what they were ordering. Despite our table being booked for 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant being very busy, we did not wait long to be served or for our food to come out. It was all well presented and perfectly cooked. I’ve already recommended a number of people to visit since our meal and we will definitely return next time we’re in Manchester.”

“Had a wonderful experience this morning. Ruby welcomed me with a smile and suggested an addition to my order which was phenomenal. Carlos brought my full order to my table and made sure I had everything I needed. Catherine bused the dishes from my table when I was finished and ensured I was satisfied with everything. I had a lovely conversation with all three of them after I was finished and left feeling very thankful this was the coffee shop I chose while I was in town for a day. “A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”

“We had a really tasty lunch. Bao buns, gyoza. ramen, and a desert of fried banana and ice cream - a coffee. Really good. The service was fantastic. I went with an older person who ate slowly. The server was really patient and supportive, not a hint of pressure for us to hurry. The woman Sol? couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you!”

“Absolutely loved this hotel. It is a short walking distance from the train station, easy to access. The building looks amazing and the rooms are just fab! It is a proper hotel room but very well equipped even had a small kitchen installed giving a feeling of an RBnb so you can cook your own meals if you want. Nice and clean bathroom with some nice brands of shampoo and body wash. Also had iron and hair dryer. Oh, and the view was stunning, staff was superfriendly. Wifi was quick, easy to connect and even the staircase looks beautiful. Highly recommended accomodation if you visit Manchester.”

“I went with some friends to celebrate my brother's birthday. I have a lot of allergies, so I'm hard to find food for, but Peter gave me (and my brother) excellent service - he made me feel like, even though it was pretty hectic there, I was the only person he was serving in the room. Perfect! Also, Maggie (Mags?) did provide good service in giving us the food, checking we were all happy. Additionally, the food was pretty good. Finally, the restaurant was very busy , which is a sure sign of popularity!”

The atmosphere is excellent and when you arrive and enter the premises, you are quickly (and warmly) greeted with a friendly smile and a helpful Employee. As a Disabled Person, I found the layout, set-up and arrangement of the furniture easily navigable with ample room to move around. I have not encountered a more helpful Staff when visiting a Restaurant and my opinion of them is that they are of the highest calibre and quality. I wish to express my personal, sincere and heartfelt thanks to Waiter 'V' and the Manager. They (both) are extremely personable, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming. They gave me their time and were genuinely interested and could not have done more to help me. I cannot praise them enough. Their conduct, behaviour, attitude and persona(s) shall keep me coming back to [and frequenting] this Establishment often. The food is of the highest quality, but you'll just have to take my word on that and go and sample [it] for yourself! You won't regret it... I don't want to spoil the surprise! The table(s) are far enough apart so as to maintain a conversation without feeling overlooked or eavesdropped on. The Establishment is clean and the decor is tasteful. I enjoy visiting this Establishment and would rate it: exceptional. What makes this place stand out from the rest / it's competition is the: service. The superb Staff make this a super Establishment. Look no further if you are looking for a new 'local'. In this writer's humble view, you won't find one better!”

“The cafe is brilliantly located right in the toddler play area at Stamford park. Having a cafe with a toilet is very convenient when I'm out and about with the kids. They have friendly staff, great coffee, lovely atmosphere & fabulous value.”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“Wonderful soundproofing for a city location. Didn't hear traffic, banging doors or anything during the night. Very comfy bed, powerful shower, clean and useful facilities. Also lovely friendly lady on reception. Late checkout brilliant too. The beefeater attached to it is great as well. We arrived very tired from long journey and took advantage of the special offer for dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious, portions good and Holly our waitress was brilliant.”

Everything was on point, the burger was succulent and the flavour was just perfect, the fries were perfectly seasoned and they just hit the spot. We drove 3 hours just to have these burgers. “If I were to describe Manjaros in a nutshell, I'd say it was Nandos with a twist. There are a few different options from the traditional grilled chicken which are worth trying. The prices are steep, but the portions are very large and you need to have a very large appetite to finish your plate completely! You also get enough seating for large groups as well as proper table service with waiters and everything - something which really sets the experience apart. Look out for the excellent discounts that may pop up from time to time, making this place incredibly good value. If you enjoy this sort of cuisine, I suggest you give it a shot. It's well worth it. Oh, and it can get quite busy so to avoid disappointment make sure you call up and reserve a table before visiting.”

“Me and my mum went to zizzi on a Sunday afternoon ( expecting it to be busy but pleasantly surprised and was quiet plus school holidays) I had a free birthday meal to use and have been meaning to go to zizzi for a while so perfect opportunity Prior to going already knew what I was getting the vegan aubergine meatball pizza and 6 layer lasagna ( both cooked to perfection and went very well together!) The pizza had a spicy kick , super thin base and delicious toppings while the lasagna had a unique layers with a rich tomato sauce , pesto and crispy kale ( if seen in supermarkets and been tempted to buy from the freezer but glad I had in store ) The service was professional, welcoming and super good with allergens , overall a great time and highly recommend For families , dates , solo the perfect meal that’s reasonably priced , have a range of offers and deals plus if you get the app get perkz like this so the bill was 1/2 price and came to 2 for 1 on mains plus had a cider”
