“Our 8yo daughter attends Monday Acting School with Footlights and she absolutely loves it. She gets very excited to go every week because, in her own words, the class is creative and fun. She was asked to write a speech a couple of weeks ago and when she finished, she couldn't have been more proud of herself. We are delighted to see how much confidence in her abilities she has learnt in class and how much she enjoys it. “Our Children (five and eight) are excited about adding to our family and have discussed a hamster.... My husband and I went to Pets at Home Bury to talk to an expert and discuss possible options and in particular what pet would be best for our family. We spoke to a lovely lady on the till who called over her colleague Maddie. Maddie talked us through options, and explained the nature and requirements of Hamsters, also looked to understand more about us as a family, how old the children are, how much activity we do, how much available time we have to properly look after and love a new pet. This was so impressive as clearly she wanted to ensure she advised us enough to help guide our informed decision whilst also having the welfare of the animal at the heart of the decision which is exactly what any ethical and compassionate pet store should do! She was engaging, extremely knowledgeable, clear and just so so lovely to talk to! We actually since talking to Maddie, believe that Guinea Pigs may be a better option for us, particularly because the are nocturnal and our daughter is still young, her bed time would be Hammy's wake up time! We were introduced to the available Guinea Pigs, shown a variety of housing options, Maddie explained the importance of nutrition, play, chew toys and behaviours to watch out for too as the Guineas get older. We are going to reflect in readiness for a joint family decision with Henry and Lils, but for now are just so grateful for the time Maddie spent with us. Finally, the Store Manager Raf was really encouraging about ensuring Maddie was recognised for her efforts - he was keen to encourage this recognition of his team and in my eyes, this is really good leadership! “Ami Gibbs was amazing with me in the gym. I applied for a free day pass online and came into the gym and Ami showed me around the facilities. She was super helpful and friendly and made me really comfortable and the gym and pool area was amazing. Will definitely be looking to join once I’m back from travelling.”

“Amazing school and fantastic teachers. Really made an effort to continue our daughters education during the lockdown. Fantastic facilities including cricket pitch, basketball courts, swimming pool, football pitch’s including astroturf. Could not recommend this school highly enough as it has a wonderful family feel to it that is lacking in other schools. We feel they really care not just about the education but the happiness and well-being of there students too.”

“I remember my anxiety levels with the thought of finding a suitable childcare provider to look after my son, soon as I stepped into Tiddlywinks I just knew this was the one!!!! Management were professional and approachable, allowing me to have a truly wonderful ‘look around’ experience. My son and niece both attend and they are flourishing. All the staff work extremely hard to provide OUTSTANDING childcare, catering to each child’s individual needs. The rooms are inviting, child friendly and always clean and fresh. The company itself, provide so many enjoyable experiences, such as trips and celebrations- the children even had a visit from Minnie and Mickey Mouse on their 30th nursery anniversary. The menu is nutritious and caters to all children’s specific dietary requirements. I would 100% recommend Tiddlywinks- I know quite a few of my friend’s children have joined already.
