Convenience store in Stockport

“Great...dead slow service always busy, wait ages for scripts”

“Not sure if it's this store or the other one in stockport doing the home deliveries too my address. But the past 3 times I've been extremely impressed!! Only on the first order did I not get the main item needed. But did get plenty of other item. Where as other stores limit certain items you can buy to something stupid like 3 sainsburys hasn't. They also stock in a pure juice no others seem too. All I want to do is to be able to eat healthy. I have mobility problems & some other health issues so home delivery is a must for me. I've been able to buy certain items for my monthly shop ( as that's how I'm paid) & get them all. With other stores I was being limited on the stuff I actually needed & forced to buy stuff that wasn't good for me to get to minimum spend & then on day of delivery all the health items I'd only ordered for were always out of stock. Well not here im able to load up on healthy items in bulk & get them also. On top of that I had really begrudge the extreme price increase other stores had made on fresh fruit on veg but with sainsburys at least I'm getting veg that's the same price as other companies but it's coming Twice the size & it's shelf life is Amazing . Last order I had several lettuces and they lasted 3 weeks in the fridge so I was able to eat them all. None were binned. I've only had a few of their own brand stuff so far like the Hot chocolate but it was great. I've invested in their cat litter which was low on stars but can't be worse than asdas which is why I've been buying expensive brands for a while but their quality has gone down. I'm so impressed. I booked this over a week in advance for when I get paid & was worried there might be none the items by then nut every single item arrived. Oh & a extra bonus despite I need the cheaper delivery which can spread over 4/5 hour time limit. Guy arrived first thing 6:30am this morning. And was a absolute star..I jad so many heavy items to throw in stairs cupboard which is now filled to the brim. EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM SAINSBURYS DELIVERY!!! Please don't ever change this level. Keep it coming with good quantities of needed & healthy items”

“This pharmacy is my nominated one & the speed at which my repeat prescription was ready to collect was amazing the staff are always helpful and the reviews here are somewhat dated so I’d like previous reviewers to know this chemist is efficient the problems previously are a distant memory are no more & they offer a great service to the local community & have done to me for many years I don’t believe that you get the credit you deserve and not an easy job in these difficult time so having verbally given you my feedback today as I said am adding it here also for all to see and long may you continue to be effective efficient & speedy in these difficult times we all encounter Positive feedback Can be rare but I am a great believer that when credit is due it should be given ad this is long overdue”

“Went to this pharmacy for my annual flu jab. The young lady who did the vaccination was super nice and very competent. She explained everything really clearly. I was a little bit worried before I went because I usually have my vaccination at the GPs but I was struggling to get an appointment so decided to book in at the pharmacy instead. I needn't have worried I felt really safe.”

“Really good fuel quality bring my BM here as it seems to run so well on the fuel, slightly more expensive but worth the money especially the supreme unleaded out of the peal holiday seasons. Well stocked for what it is. Staff are friendly but a bit slow.”

“Had a great experience at this corner shop. Served by William, he is super efficient on the tills and knew where items i needed were placed.”

“Was completely refurbishment during September 2023 and reopened with the usual excellent staff and excellent food (which is why I have left the following 5 star review unchanged). Unfortunately, the refurbishment means we will not be using the café as often as we have done in the past, because they no longer take cash. The counter has been replaced by order screens similar to the screens in MacDonalds and some M&S cafe's, and younger people will love them. Unfortunately, unlike the similar machines at MacDonalds and some M&S cafe's (which take cash as well as card) the new payment screens here only accept card payments. The café looks fine, and the food is as good as ever, but the payment system makes it feel very impersonal and there is less opportunity for banter with the friendly staff. Also, some of the older customers who usually pay by cash will now feel excluded. Personally, I prefer a choice, sometimes paying cash, sometimes by card. Latest image shows the café, and the back of the payment screens on left hand side. The original review was as follows: Food is excellent, as are the staff. Friendly, efficient, and professional. Breakfast is always hot, well cooked, and well presented.”

“Brilliant service from the staff at this store. They were very helpful in locating a few items, checking stock for me and also obtaining some board games from the top shelf. No issues with this. We have used this store many times as it is our local branch and never had any issues. Ordered bikes and scooters from them, done click and collected and also been at the store when they host special offers (Harry potter lego etc).”

“We only ever stop here to enjoy the English breakfast which is always served quickly and perfectly cooked. The staff are always friendly and helpfull and the cafe tables chairs and surroundings are always spotlessly clean.”

You fill in the online form and receive a follow up call to confirm your day of collection. The collection is free and the team collecting are quick, efficient and friendly. “The staff are polite and friendly and my monthly prescription from the health centre is always correct and ready when I go to collect it. The pharmacist was very helpful and knowledgeable when I went in recently to borrow their blood pressure monitor for 24 hours.”
