“Dropped my bike off with Rick on Wednesday and got it back the next day , brakes fixed with new brake cable , new back tyre and new back skewer , didn't know my back bearing was loose but he sorted that aswell and at a very reasonable price, will definitely be giving Rick a call in the future , top bloke”

“I popped over to Halfords after I discovered a fault with some work that I recently had done at a different garage, my car was not working well. A very kind and friendly staff member sort to resolve my issue immediately, he kindly introduced me to Scott. Scott didn't hesitate to find the problem and resolve the issue and talked me through what was wrong and what he did !! All I can say is that he is a credit to Halfords I've only ever had service like this in one other car garage and I've been to many in my lifetime. He was perfect”

“I visited this Roche Spares on Saturday to have a set of plates made the owner of the shop could not of been more helpful he has a very professional attitude towards his customers. He made up the plates whilst I waited (perfect job) and then offered at no cost to help transfer the plates via the DVLA so I could put them on straight away. The owner of Roche Spares is a credit to his business.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel after reading previous reviews however it seems the owner's of this hotel have gone to a real effort to turn things around, everything was laid out perfectly for us the bed was made nicely and the bath run really nice with hot water, and with folded towels on the bed and free soap show minor details which would be expected on rooms much more expensive. Highly recommend for families my kids loved it. Also great location.”

“Came over to Base Camp in Stockport this weekend to purchase some Altberg boots. Mike was very helpful in explaining the different models and options available. It's definitely worth having your feet measured by a professional for this sort of thing and I'm really happy with my purchase. Base Camp also have a great selection of Paramo products in-store, looking forward to coming back and picking out a jacket later in the year.”

Hannah was fantastic at explaining the bike and app and spending over an hour answering my questions. I never felt any pressure to purchase and left the store to think about it. “I had such a lovely breakfast experience here. I pre ordered and booked the day before for a late morning vegetarian breakfast. The owner was very quick to respond to my social media messages and happily made adjustments to my order. Food was delicious and service was very quick. Condiments were offered and a toilet is available inside. Seating available outside during good weather. Takeaway orders are taken. The boat was warm, cosy and full of character. The owner was really friendly and asked us questions about ourselves and built up a good rapport. Will definitely return”

“I rang Stuart for some advice on an issue with my clutch squeeling he quickly diagnosed the issue and picked my car up the day after from my house as I was unable to come away from work to take the car to him and dropped it back off the day after good as new , he was also very accommodating and respectful of my insurance Blackbox in my car . He kept me updated and even notified me of the exact issue with my old clutch and also some other small issue that required attention on my car and how and where I can source parts. I completely recommend Stuart at speedy clutch he did a great job on my Peugeot 107 will definitely use again in the future.”

Jay gave me the freshest trim I've had in my life and was super friendly throughout. They are also advocated for men's mental health which I think is awesome. 10/10 will be going back!”
