“Had a few alterations to the pesky emissions systems along with a remap on my Volvo S60 D5 215, the car has been transformed in to an absolute rocket ship, it's insane how much more responsive the car is all the way through the rev range, if she had wings she would take off, the car is absolutely unreal a completely different beast and the crazy thing is the fuel economy is now better than ever, it's as though the laws of physics have been broken, I could not recommend enough, if your in too minds just get it done I guarantee you will not be left disappointed.”

“What a nice discovery! We had a lovely day walking at worsley woods that finished in the best way eating an unexpected good pizza, so tasty vey good quality, highly recommend this place, Maya our waitress was very kind and helpful. We will definitely come back!”

“Our dog had a mysterious limp which turned out to be elbow dysplasia. We had a few appointments with Steve at MVS referred over from our usual vet. Steve was professional and personable, thorough with his assessment and set out a number of options but without pushing any in particular so we could make the choice we felt was appropriate. We’d definitely go back. Shout out to the friendly staff on reception too, who makes things run smoothly behind the scenes.”

“I visited whilst waiting for a train - the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The menu was clear, and varied with delicious options. I opted for a Jacket Potato with Tuna which was a great size, baked to perfection and served with a lovely salad. This with tea was £6 - great value for money in a gorgeous cafe.”

“Just discovered this pub and so impressed. Great friendly service from Melissa. Food was very tasty and you could tell everything was fresh. Compliments to Astra in the kitchen! Very generous portions too which delighted hubby. We went for lunch and there were tables available without booking. Very friendly atmosphere and will definitely be recommending friends and family to visit.”

“The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

“My friend and I visited John Gilbert on 19th December for lunch. Service was very good (by Casey). Both our meals were very tasty and served lovely and hot. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A nice relaxing ambience. I would definitely recommend this pub both for food and service.”

I sneezed once and a tissue appeared out of thin air. Now, the food? It was okay. But the service, oh my it was exceptional. Faith was new but great 10/10.”

Benton is a nervous soul due to some experiences he's had in the past and Melissa was so good at reassuring him and building up his confidence. “Visited Spice Zone in Walkden twice and both times excellent. Food is tasty, fresh and hot excellent service from start to finish from taking order to collecting all. Turnaround is quick. 20mins max First time was for chicken tikka kebab wraps which are value for money, flame grilled chicken meal also value for money and delicious. Wraps were packed out and chips in the meal were very good fries Second time round mushroom bargee as a side dish, main:chicken tikka khumbi dupiaza and onion rice along with chapati's which my partner and I shared it was more than enough it's a must to try this takeaway excellent value and all freshly prepared on site in a very clean hygienic kitchen. Staff professional and very pleasant and I would highly recommend. Go on try this takeaway support a local eatery business you will not be disappointed,menu offers a vast selection and meets all tastes.”
