“Really helpful customer assistant. Wish I could remember his name. Called in late afternoon Saturday. Items we wanted assistant said had to be ordered; wouldn't arrive until midday Sunday. No good for us as we were leaving the caravan site Sunday morning. Then something came into his mind and he looked on computer and the items were in stock in the Bolton store. Said we could pay and then go off and collect them immediately. Brilliant. Did this. Saved us having to drive much further distance to our local Screwfix when we got home. Many thanks”

“Turned up at 10 minutes before closing time yesterday as I was struggling to assemble the grass box on a lawnmower I'd had delivered from Screwfix. The staff member I spoke to ( I didn't note his name unfortunately ), could easily have had one eye on the clock and asked me to come back the next day, but he couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, and promptly solved the problem for me.
