The following year, I came in as a tattoo artist, and Stephen and Dan are two fantastic people. I visited the museum with "RAMBO" and it was absolutely incredible. The studio is unique, the atmosphere is sensational. If you don't know or visit Rambo's, you don't know what tattooing is! For me, it's the best studio/museum.”

“Best shop ever! BWD is just the best. Full of great labels you can always find something for every occasion, casual or glam. The staff are fantastic. They help you with clothes that suit you, give constructive advice and opinions and alternatives to try if you need a bit of assistance for the right look. I always find something just right and their loyalty card points scheme is fab, you feel like you are getting a little something back and rewards custom. It's my go to shop for when I'm looking to treat myself. It's also where my husband goes to treat me too as they always look after him in there. I rarely bother to clothes shop town now. With great labels on my doorstep and staff that actually care about their customers why would I?”

A lovely relaxed atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble I was encouraged to try on as many outfits that I wanted after chatting with Paula about my style and colour preferences. I do not like clothes shopping but needed a wedding outfit. I had a very enjoyable visit, every outfit tried on fitted me, some more comfortable than others and I am delighted with my final choice. I also found out that I can hire the matching hat which was an added bonus. There is also the added bonus of a seamstress being available, for any alterations required. Highly recommend a visit and I will certainly return as and when I need more outfits, be it casual, dressy or formal.”

“Definitely the biggest (pun intended) oversized menswear store in the North. The staff were lovely, very patient and helped me find exactly what I wanted. The selection is huge and the prices are very fair for the high quality on offer here. They can also change the clothes to fit you perfectly if needed.”

“I don’t usually leave reviews however, this true act of kindness by the Salon Owner and her staff has meant the world to me and my daughters. I was hospitalised due to pneumonia, my daughter had braids in her hair from holiday and lots had fell out, she was devastated. My mum tried several hairdressers and finally went to Prestige. Jo and a colleague replaited my daughter’s hair immediately and even gave her replacement bobbles, when mum offered to pay they politely refused to accept anything. My daughters were upset that I wasn’t at home and this act of sheer kindness is beyond words. I actually am a customer of prestige however had not had extensions for some time (when I did they were amazing). However, the staff didn’t realise it was my daughter which is even more heartwarming thank you Jo and Team keep up the incredible work xx”

“A massive thank you to the whole team at Barwoods for the fitted wardrobes and dressing tables etc that we have recently had fitted. This is the second time we’ve had wardrobes fitted with Barwood’s and the quality and attention to details hasn’t changed at all. Our eldest has already hung his medals up on the custom made board and arranged his trophy's on the shelf above his desk and even our 4 year old was excited to have new wardrobes!
