“We hired the marvel bouncy castle and slide for my little ones 4th birthday. The kids had an absolute blast on it. The added feature of a slide kept them entertained for hours. “What a fabulous venue. Arriving at this huge grade 2 listed building (dead easy to reach with free parking) I felt somewhat in awe. The mill is massive, an incredible and a fascinating glimpse of history. It's a bit of a hike and a climb (although there is a lift) to get to the cinema. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The screen is fine and the projection as good as anywhere. The seats are comfortable and there is leg room. It was terrific to watch two superb old Hammer Horror films. The area has been crying out for such a cinema. I will certainly visit again. .”

“Our first visit to Knutsford Little Theatre, and boy! Did this venue deliver! Seats are limited, but that means you're always going to be close to the stage! The show we saw, Together for Theatre's "Into the Spotlight", was fantastic, and it was clear that there were up to date lighting, sound and stage equipment available! We enjoyed a drink in their bar, and appreciated the service and assistance of staff whenever sought... I currently have mobility issues and found it easy to navigate. Parking is limited on the street, but there was a nearby car park in easy walking distance, even for me! I highly recommend this venue!”

“We ate at Zaytoon for the first time last night and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing; just delicious. We had the mezze platter and a whole sea bass, and everything was perfect. One of us wanted more lamb and had the kebabs, which he said were delicious too. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back.”

“Indian Affair is hands down my favourite spot for Indian food in Chorlton - I come here regularly and always leave full & happy. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. My go-to order is Butter Chicken with their garlic naan and perfectly cooked pilau rice. The Lamb Nihari is another favourite - rich, tender and a great portion size! And if you love street food-style starters, the Samosa Chaat is a must-try. On top of the amazing food, the prices are really reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you’re dining in or getting a takeaway, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend checking this place out!”

One of the few truly independent places like it in Manchester, who put the time and care into putting on events geared towards community rather than just trying to flog as much booze as possible. “Excellent micro tap bar inside the indoor market hall. Lovely bar spread across 3 market units of space inside Tommyfield indoor market hall, very cosy and comfy little bar. Good choices of alcohol/ale's, Drink prices are really good value and not expensive at all! Friendly bar staff and lovely customers who seem to very chatty and welcoming. You can easily strike up good conversation in this bar and make new friends. This place is very much welcomed in the indoor market hall bringing new customers and faces to a part of the market hall that was a bit empty, Please support this little bar and visit Cob and Coal.”

“Intimate little restaurant serving fabulous food, all cooked on order by owner and Chef, Mandy. The paella is the best I have ever tasted but don't forget to check the specials board as well. When everything is so good it's ideal that it's tapas, perfect for sharing with family and friends. Menu prices are very reasonable and as it's BYOB, you save money bringing your own alcoholic drinks. (Edit ; they charge that small an amount for corkage i never even noticed until they replied to this review) Friendly, attentive staff in a lovely relaxed atmosphere complete the picture, making this one of my favourite places to bring the people that I love. x”

“An internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didn’t stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.”

Staff very friendly and shop was busy showing how popular it is. Car parking to the side which helped Couldn't fault any of it Will be our first choice chippy now!!”
