“I would realy recommend this pool for beginners it’s realy good for private lessons or normal lessons the staff are amazing and very polite on a Sunday you and your child can come to half of the big pool on the other side is swimming lessons”

I love the policy of swim for as long as you like other pools give you a slot to use. No overcharging on the gym memberships it’s just perfect and affordable. Would recommend to anyone!”

“Attend the gym and classes on a regular basis. Equipment is more than adequate and people are always lovely. The staff even ‘rescued’ a couple of flasks I’d left in the football pitches and kept them until I was next it. Very much appreciated it.”

“Just had my daughters party at Ashton leisure centre it was amazing. Danny and the team here are wonderful and really helpful. my daughter, friends and family had a great time in the pool and the party room with music and disco lights, couldn't thank them enough. Sometimes we forget what great facilities we have on our doorstep that doesn't cost the earth especially when you have a great friendly team like Dannys”

“Large rooms with power points. The furniture is of a good standard and the kitchen is a very good standard. The cafe area near the kitchen has lovely circular tables that we covered in pretty tablecloths with artificial flowers on each table, each table could easily sit six. There is a creche area for younger children, clean toilets near the entrance way. A security system to gain access to the building that requires a code, so you can keep your younger children safe from wondering outside unattended. And let only your party in when you have hire of the hall. Large car park as well”

“Failsworth Sports Centre offers a well-rounded experience for fitness enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. The highlight of the facility is undoubtedly its five-star gym. Equipped with state-of-the-art machines and free weights, the gym is rarely crowded, providing an almost exclusive feel. This allows for uninterrupted workouts and easy access to equipment at any time of the day. The swimming pool, which boasts I would say the the cleanest water you'll find across all sports centres well maintained, offering a refreshing and hygienic environment for swimmers. Everyone is very social and it makes a change from the other sites. The staff at Failsworth Sports Centre deserve special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. Their positive attitude and helpful nature contribute significantly to the inviting atmosphere of the centre. However, The sports centre is beginning to show its age, and certain parts of the facility, particularly the changing rooms and could do with some tender loving care. Updating areas would go a long way in enhancing the overall user experience.”

“A great pool and exercise facilities in the centre of Ashton-under-Lyne. Car park at the rear of the building. Close to transport links. Staff are really helpful and very friendly. Swimming is fully open now and you do not have to prep book online for swimming.”

“You can get both first and second jabs of your vaccine here. Both Astrazenica and Pfizer are available in this site but you need to check the Salfold NHS website to find out what kind of vaccine is available on the day you want to attend.”

“A lot of equipment I’m 17 been going for 3 months and I haven’t seen any faults at all people are nice and welcoming front desk staff are kind the best thing is I don’t have to wait for a bench to do my sets as there all located around the gym but yeah great gym overall maybe add some new updated machines”

“My Daughter and her friend are currently at the inflatable obstacle swimming course and are having a great time. What a credit the you g male lifeguard is to your team. He is engaging with all the children, chatting, splashing them, throwing buckets of water at them. It is him that has made the experience extra fun!”

“I was for one day free trial, now I have membership and really happy. It’s nice coz around me, I have 3 leisure centre and can go whenever I want, the two of them have sauna and that’s what I want the most. This one also have some sessions for my little one so she is happy too”

“Fab leisure centre. Joined a few months back at the start of my pregnancy as wanted to keep fit still. The staff are great especially the young lad on reception, always aware of what’s going on even when he’s with a customer, always opened the access door for me as I was getting a bigger and bigger bump. Lifeguards were always keeping an eye on me when in pool and addressed any issues which made me feel safe and protected of my baby bump. (Baby is now here & can’t wait to be back) My older son also has a kids membership and likes to use the gym. No issue ringing on day and getting him booked in. Not done any classes yet but will definitely be looking into this soon.”

“Everything you need & more, affordable, friendly & welcoming to all shapes & sizes. Staff are lovely & very informative & extremely happy to help even if you have a "stupid" question haha. As a plus size woman, I feel so comfortable to work out & to get back to my pre spinal operation weight. Easy enough to book & cancel sessions, equipment great quality majority is Matrix Gym Equipment. Also with the whole Covid-19 stuff they are following all guidelines which makes me feel safe as I work out. Although it's not overly big there's always something to work on while you wait for something else. I can't currently do anything weight related due to my surgery, & I don't feel pressured by staff that I should be doing that, everything is in my own pace & they understand that which makes me actually LOVE going. Even when I have to miss a few days or recently a week between sessions due to my back pain, staff don't make any comments (like ive had in the past at another gym I've been to). I just want to say a huge thank you to all staff at Radcliffe.”
