My initial thought was to buy a new one but I'm so glad I didn't. This is the second piece of work I've had done and both times I have been thoroughly satisfied with the quality and price. I never braved enough to try red but Choco nails didn’t disappoint me with the red cat eyes, not too much but still show off the festive nails. Price are not bad for this fancy set. Staff are always friendly. I got the shape that I wanted. Definitely come back”

“After trying 2 other shops, I took a bracelet into this jewellers which I wanted extending for my sons 16th. It is a family heirloom and very special. The two previous shops had said categorically nothing could be done, so I gave it one last try here. The ladies were unbelievably helpful and caring, understanding why it was important to get this bracelet extended and keep it in the family. They came up with an amazing solution and had it sent away, extended and back within a week. All this at a fantastic cost. In short, this jewellers go the extra mile to help their customers. I can't speak highly enough of them- Thankyou!”

Only had a brew and a cake but it’s spacious, light and airy, with nice, big booths and a sunny back yard (looks like a good set up for DJ’s too) Coffee was good, sweet stuff was from Silver Apples, so pretty familiar and more than decent quality. “Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“I love this place, what an absolute gem. Been going here for years and it’s always like coming home to friends. My nails are always perfect. The audacity of some young girls leaving bad reviews for gorgeous small local businesses is laughable! Please ignore the teenagers in the reviews, they seemingly got upset because they don’t understand the need for local businesses to put in place cancellation policies, to protect the income of their staff. And then the friends of this girl started a pile on! Shame on them. Please respect local business policies girls, don’t hurt such a great place with your lies. Let’s be kind. :)”
