“Just top class food served by amazing staff in an amazing venue which is worth a visit just to see the building. My wife had chorizo in honey, (to die for,) followed by a half chicken which was amazing. I had the mackeral to start and then pork medalions, which were stunning. “Went here before a gig, was a lovely meal! The place is tucked away from the main street, and thankfully takes walk ins, so we wandered in and got seated straight away. Service was quick and friendly, and the food! Great sharing plate for starters, and then both shared red/green curries for mains with sticky rice. Cannot fault any aspect of the experience.”

“The Hesketh is hands down the best place for a Sunday roast! I had the chicken roast and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, juicy chicken with crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich gravy that tied everything together beautifully. The portions were generous, the presentation spot on, and the flavours reminded me of a proper homemade Sunday dinner, only better! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear the team really take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday roast in the area, The Hesketh is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back next week !”

“So I called here as I needed delivery and was so in the mood for a curry. Knutford doesn't really deliver and the one nice restaurant that does was so busy as closed due to refurbishment. So I thought if try here. I'm so glad I did, the guy who answered the phone was so helpful and helped me pick the best curry based upon the description I gave of what I wanted. I'm out of the catchment area so paid more for delivery and I would again because the food was so delicious and I haven't got 1 thing to complain about, and I complain about anything that's anything but perfect! Thanks il definitely use again”

“Been twice recently, once for breakfast once for a carvery. Both time the food was fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The chef came over both times making sure everything was OK and had a chat when we had finished our meals, bar staff are lovely and welcoming too. “This is one of the few places doing the proper pork gyros and thick, strong tzatziki like you'd find somewhere around Athens. It's a very different taste than so many places that try to serve what is greek gyros only in name. It's not particularly cheap, but it's definitely worth it. I went for the classic pork gyros, my colleagues went with various pork and chicken skewer and gyros boxes, everyone was happy.”

The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic flavours, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. My favourites were the [insert your favourite dishes, e.g., Kabuli Pulao, Mantu dumplings, or lamb kebabs], which tasted homemade and comforting. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The restaurant itself has a warm, inviting atmosphere — perfect for both family meals and special occasions. If you’re looking to enjoy authentic Afghan food in a friendly setting, I can’t recommend Afghan Cuisine Restaurant enough. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“First time customer. Went to the shop to order as it's close to home. It was busy (Sunday 6.30ish) always a good sign. Chose the Cocktail Masala, with Garlic Nan, Onion Bhajis, Poppadoms and usual accompaniments. The guy apologised for the wait which was only about 15mins or so which was less than I expected but they have that many Chefs it shouldn't have surprised me. It's an open kitchen, very clean, and reasonable prices. Will def be going back and definitely recommend.”

“A solid option if you are looking for good food. Reasonably priced compared to some other restaurants. You get free lentil soup and tea which is great. Plus they have space for anyone who would want to pray ( just ask them if you don't see it ). I assume there is a family section on the first floor. One thing to keep in mind is that It's Kurdish cuisine so it's slightly different from Turkish or the other middle eastern food u get on curry mile. It definitely has less spices compared to South Asian food. The parking can be an issue as the area is usually busy with people. Defo worth a try”

“Really impressed with this place. The staff were genuinely hospitable and professional – made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. The food was spot on. Starters were great, especially the lamb chops, but my personal favourites were the fish pakora and naga wings – packed with flavour. Curries were classic British Indian restaurant style, just how I like it when eating out. What really stood out for me was the calm, cosy vibe. Even though it was nearly a full house, it didn’t feel chaotic or noisy like some buffet places. Staff managed the floor well and created a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”

“A different eating-in experience with various steak options variety a nice seating area and a lovely view of an actual plane cockpit and proper airplane womdows with a view of the main road. Tables and seating are good enough for a family of 6 like mine and comfortable.”

“Very pleasant place, air conditioned with attentive staff. My first visit, but would gladly return. Sushi was wonderful, fresh fish, good seasoning, gyōzas not doughy, but lovely and thin. Had to wait for a while for the second innings, but the staff was apologetic and since what followed was excellent we didn't mind. I wish I took some photos, but was too busy eating! Loved it! “Our favorite place for ribs! We always order buffalo ribs and were never disappointed. Great and fast service. Nice atmosphere. Just a note, they don’t serve any alcohol, but there are plenty places around if you want to go before or after. Looking forward to coming again.”
