“Lovely place. 10/10. Excellent communication, easy to book. Access is via a keysafe, very simple. The room we had (No.1) was beautifully decorated with a lovely ensuite. There was a Nespresso machine, kettle, complimentary teas, coffees & even a lovely bottle of red wine waiting for us. The proprietor Tony communicated via whatsapp which made things easy. The bed was very comfy and we had a lovely stay. 2mins walk takes you to a fabulous Italian cafe (Nostro Cafe) & you need travel no further. A lovely little hotel I am sure we will use again.”

“Great food whether you want home baking, an Italian special or just a bacon sandwich. Thoroughly recommend the cappuccino with a double shot of espresso (think big flat white). Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly too. Can't recommend too highly.”

“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Robina and John for always helping, making us laugh and generally being authentic people. You've created a great space!”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

A must if you're in Altrincham. Definitely a food and people place. Can't wait until we go again. They should sell a recipe book of some of these dishes, especially those great dishes they don't do anymore.”

“We got married at Rylands Farmhouse in May and we couldn’t recommend it enough. From our first viewing of the venue to the morning after our wedding the service provided was second to none. The staff went above and beyond for us at every opportunity and nothing was too much to ask. Our wedding guests were blown away with the venue and the staff. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast the next day was delicious. Luis was with us from the beginning and throughout our whole wedding day and he was absolutely amazing! He made sure that everything was perfect for us and we can’t thank him enough! We can’t wait to revisit for every anniversary in future! Thank you Rylands x”

“Had a lovely experience at the village cafe today, was greeted by the lovely waitress ella who seated us immediately alll the staff were so lovely and there was no wait with our food, which tasted absolutely amazing i ordered the Breakfast wrap which was absolutely delicious and the smoothie was so yummy. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Evening at The Bulls Head, Hale! We had a wonderful experience at The Bulls Head in Hale! The service was absolutely excellent — Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on — the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour. A great atmosphere, great service, and great food — we’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend!”

“Got recommended Mr Yungs by somebody and considering my usual chinese is closed we decided to give them a go. Wow. Just wow. The food was incredible. The salt & pepper chips were crispy, the food was hot and fresh, and everything tasted really fresh. We are in Wythenshawe and will now be changing our chinese to here without a doubt. 11/10. “Really lovely pub with a restaurant feel in the main dining area, and a super dog-friendly dining experience in the Garden Room. Our server, Charlotte, was very friendly and attentive. Really appreciated the card on our table, wishing our Mum a happy birthday, along with a complimentary drink. Only downside was the dreadful smell from drains in the ladies. Will definitely return.”

“We came to this branch of costa on Saturday 25th October 2025 ,my son was doing a challenge to run 103km in memory of his friend who died of MND ,we highlighted this area as a rest stop, I felt we needed to praise your staff as they allowed his sports physio to set up her table to work on the team as it was cold and breezy outside, that bit of warmth as well as coffee was very much appreciated Thank you costa staff”

“We needed somewhere to crash for an extended period of time before a flight. The staff here were very helpful when we arrived. We can not fault the guy on the phone and the lady on site for how good they were to us. The room was a lot more spacious than expected and it had the cricket test on the telly. The bed wasn’t amazing, but the room was cheap so we were not expecting the Ritz. We got lunch nearby at San Carlo, which was very close and tasty.”
