“I attended a little bambino pizza making event in the summer holidays with my son and was impressed with the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. My son had a great time kneading the dough and preparing his own pizza. He was very proud of the finished pizza. It was a wonderful afternoon and amazing value for money. “Sigiriya in Manchester is hands down the best Sri Lankan restaurant we’ve experienced in the UK so far! Just a 20-minute drive from Liverpool, it’s worth every minute of the journey. The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is rich and authentic, truly transporting you to Sri Lanka. The food here is phenomenal—every dish is bursting with flavor and feels incredibly authentic. Chef Dahanaka’s expertise is evident in every bite. A special shoutout to Anil and Lahiru for their outstanding hospitality; they made our dining experience even more enjoyable with their friendly and professional service. If you’re looking for a must-try restaurant, Sigiriya is the place. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their amazing menu. Highly recommend!”

“Been here twice and can't fault the place. The lunch special cheese and onion pie was really tasty. Also had a breakfast Omelette here and would recommend. The staff were friendly and the food prices reasonable. Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. When ordering I was warned it might be a 20 minute wait however food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, loved the homemade chips and fresh salad. They had a lovely children's corner with colouring books and ramped access at the front door. Only gave 4 stars for the food because they only use 2 eggs for the Omelette which compared to elsewhere is a little stingy. Will return again”

“We had a meal here on Saturday night to celebrate Mothers Day with the in-laws. We cannot fault anything. Service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the drinks menu was great. I had the prawn salad to start and the lamb for main. All perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with everything on offer. I generally find beers in restaurants are very average on choice, and especially draught beer in restaurants to be flat, or not poured correctly, but I was in for a surprise. Not just the fact they had Neck Oil on the menu on draught, but it was a very good pint. If I had to give 6 stars I would. Very impressed.”

“Just top class food served by amazing staff in an amazing venue which is worth a visit just to see the building. My wife had chorizo in honey, (to die for,) followed by a half chicken which was amazing. I had the mackeral to start and then pork medalions, which were stunning. “This place is under relatively new ownership amd they have taken this chippy up levels. Fish was amazing, lovely crisp batter on the cod and really good peas and chips. Huge portion size too. Now my go to chippy. If youve not tried it recently get yourself there.”

“Exquisite, sublime, perfect. It's a rare find when everything is perfect, but 63 Degrees is the sheer level of perfection that every restaurant should aim to have. Greeting was warm, decor was Parisian in nature, yet warm. Quirky lamps that mimicked a candle flame. A clam, tranquil atmosphere. Perfect for romantic meals. Service was excellent, professional, yet warm. The wine list had a good choice yet wasn't overloaded like some restaurants. The food was divine. We could see in the kitchen and there was only one chef, who knocked it out of the park. Everything was elevated, every mouthful, near sensual. Definitely the best French food we've had at a Manchester restaurant in terms of quality so far. Could easily gain a Michelin star if they wanted. I'd recommend everything. The Rose Apple Tart, spectacular in taste and presentation, and for those Instagram lovers, definitely a prized photo. Came here for partner's birthday and they supplied a birthday treat, honestly just the cherry on top of a perfect experience. Overall, perfect. Kudos to the 63 degrees owner, they have a gem here.”
