“The epitome of New York style loft apartment living but right in the middle of Manchester. You are in the middle of a noisy city yet at night it's so quiet you'd think you were alone in the veritable middle-of-nowhere, probably something to do with the thick 19th century walls. An amazing glass house structure covers the whole of the centre of the quad and coffee drinkers can be often seen imbibing in this area. The building is grade II listed, which means the outside character and look has to be maintained. 24hr concierge and security along with hot water and heating included in the service charge really do make this one of the most desirable residences in central Manchester.”

“We are here celebrating one of our friends’ birthday - we ordered coffee and milkshakes - milkshakes are really nice, from real ice cream - we also chose some mugs and plates to paint on - staff are friendly and helpful - when we cannot find the paint we want, staff has helped us find it - we do not know how they would become yet, as we will have to come back to collect them afterwards - it’s nice place to spend time chatting and painting some ceramic mugs or plates with friends and families”

“Childhood walking area, nice field at the start where dogs can run around. Small stream that dogs can get a drink or play in. You can walk further into the wooded area and up to a disused rail line and reservoir, leading further onto the moors. Dogs and people are able to get down to the water.”

“Recently had my nose pierced with Hayley. Very professional and sterile when doing the piercings. Very informative with how to keep it clean and dos and donts! But also extremely friendly and very easy to chat to. Will 100% be back for more piercings and have recommended her to everyone I know wanting a piercing”

“Great place! Sam (the owner) did some ear piercings for me and the experience was like no place I've ever been to. She was such a good communicator and has a very high level of precision. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable, even when the adrenaline got to me and I felt really unwell. I cannot recommend Sacred Art highly enough, I will definitely be returning”

“These two days of living let us feel very comfortable and enjoy. First of all, the house is very warm and clean and with all the toiletries. The landlord is gentle and patient. We have any confusion or questions. A phone call from the landlord comes in three minutes. All in all, I had a great time during the two nights.”

“Stayed at the Sycamore Inn a few years ago. We were visiting from the United States and had put together a family reunion with 25 members of my British family. Sammy and her staff were fantastic! Food and service outstanding! Rooms are very nice. On a drive by last year we popped in to say hello and Sammy remembered us. We were going to visit again in a few weeks and found out the heartbreaking news regarding the upcoming closure. I cannot thank Sammy and her team enough, you definitely will be missed. Scenic views, a small farm with helpful animals handlers who are happy to answer questions, well-kept grounds, boat rides, decent-sized play areas for children of all ages, a cafe, a resident ice cream van and charcoal pizza options. A good place to enjoy the great outdoors - especially on a sunny day!”

The staff are all so lovely and friendly, they even help you make up your mind when you're uncertain what to have! The facilities are clean and well kept, the atmosphere is cosy yet spacious. We look forward to every opportunity to come back! Our favourites are the carbonara and another dish with pistachios crushed and mixed in. Their desserts are freshly made on site and if you get the chance try their profiteroles, you won't be disappointed!”

“They’ve started doing burger deliveries and the burgers are fantastic! Think 5 guys meets GBK. I got a double Eminem burger, it came slightly pink in the middle...just how I like it. I’ll be satisfying all my burger cravings from here for now on! Chips were also nice, draught beer vacation was lovely. I’ll give the halloumi fries a miss next time they weren’t great - my only complaint”
