I was served by a gentleman called Dillion, he really understands his customers and was exemplary in which he held himself whilst attending to his customers, from observation he anticipated customers needs and was well presented, well spoken & polite. “Such a lovely place to see Alpacas up close. Claire was really knowledgeable and the alpacas were really friendly. Lovely setting too. Easy to find with what 3 words. Great to be able to feed the animals and stroke them. Claire clearly cared a lot about the animals and making sure they were well fed, clean and looked after. Good value for money in a group.”

“Our kitten Louie has stayed here twice now with a third time booked in. The owner Heidi is so lovely, kind and incredibly accommodating and takes such good care of all the animals! The pens are very spacious and have lots of toys to keep them entertained. We know he’s in safe hands and honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!”

“James booked 2 cruises for me and my partner. He is always really friendly and gets us the best deals possible. We booked 1 cruise and told him how much we love musical theatre and he rang me a few months later to advise they had got a deal on a musical theatre themed cruise and we booked on straight away. “An internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didn’t stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.”

The variety of flavours in their dishes is fantastic, the specials are great and the team are always so friendly- we’ve been twice recently- with friends and then with family, and we had a fantastic evening. The Akbari Cham-cham is amazing.”

Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

The bar area in particular was a lovely place to relax, with an impressive selection of cocktails and a refined ambience. The hotel’s location is another huge plus. It is only about a six minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station, which made getting in and out of the city completely effortless. Overall, Dakota Hotel Manchester delivers a true five star experience. Luxurious surroundings, exceptional service, fantastic food, and a perfect central location, we could not have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return.”

“Today was my first time going. It is a great day out for the family. All I paid was for parking witch a flat fee for the day. The park was massive and catered for all ages. The facilities were really good, also the cafe was average priced witch was really good n made a decent coffee.”

“We had a great time here, we stayed in Cabin 1 and it was so peaceful. We had our 7 month old to think about and this worked well as we could have dinner and relax in the evening and she could sleep in the cot in the bedroom and we wouldn't disturb here like we would in a hotel in one room. Staff were lovely and friendly and the site was clean. Hot tub was great to chill in the sunshine. Lovely walks around Dovestone Reservoir just a stones throw away. Have already recommended to family and would absolutely recommend again particularly for young families who like lots of countryside walks and exploring the local area.”

“I started from Lock 54 the Ship Inn at Stakehill Industrial estate,Middleton towards Rochdale.Me and my dog went for a walk along the canal towards the allotments and then towards Hopwood College which leads to the Hopwood Woods.There is 2 pubs,petrol station and a car park if you didn't park at the pub,just before the petrol station there is a small bumpy car park, NO FEES”

“A really great place for a walk especially with our dog. We tend to do the llama farm loop then back along the canal towpath towards Swizzles before heading towards the Rock Inn & down the path back to the riverside park. Other alternatives include keeping on the path past the llama farm to Cowgill farm then cross the road to the footpath under the railway line up to a bridleway which gives options to go to the road & down towards Hare and Hounds or carry on to Big Stone...(see photos)”

“It's a fantastic park with something for everyone! The area is huge and well-maintained. There's a lovely playground for children, picnic areas with barbecue facilities for families, and clean toilets that are free to use. Parking is reasonably priced—£1.50 for 2 hours and £2.50 for a longer stay. One of the highlights is the large lake with beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing walk or just enjoying nature. Highly recommended for a day out with family or friends”
