“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“My first time at Everyman and I was blown away by the fantastic customer service. As soon as we arrived we were wonderful greeted and shown a table before we waited for the screen to be open. A lovely guy with a beard and glasses came and sat to take our order - I couldn’t get over how incredibly friendly and polite he was. The service was worth every penny and the food was delicious.”

“What a place! The location, the decor, the welcome, the staff, the service and of course the food all out of this World. Warm welcome, knowledgeable sommelier who exudes positivity and tells you a fabulous story about the wine, I could listen to him all day. The food is served and explained and is of an exquisite nature. I often don’t even read the ingredients and just try it - and I’m never disappointed. “We visited for the first time on Saturday 8th November 2025 and we were served by Simona. She couldn’t have been more attentive. The service provided was excellent and right up there with the food. I had the arancini and the carbonara with sides of tenderstem broccoli and rocket. My partner had the scarpetta and lasagne. We both really enjoyed the food, particularly the dishes I picked. Simona kindly made me aware that the carbonara was traditional and not cooked with cream, which is what I expected but I do know people who have eaten a version of “carbonara” with cream who would definitely appreciate this information for their knowledge and to be aware of what they were ordering. Despite our table being booked for 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant being very busy, we did not wait long to be served or for our food to come out. It was all well presented and perfectly cooked. I’ve already recommended a number of people to visit since our meal and we will definitely return next time we’re in Manchester.”

“Came in yesterday at around 7 to grab some food and a quick drink with a friend, Keira on the bar was lovely, very friendly, chatty & pours a lovely pint! Despite having a queue at the bar she still managed to keep a smile on her face and give every guest the best & quickest service possible. She even told us about a great deal on the restaurants app for two for one on the cakes, which we used to get desserts for when we was finished! The food was amazing, we had a farm giant burger and a mixed grill. Wonderfully cooked and presented! Will definitely be returning here!”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“Wonderful soundproofing for a city location. Didn't hear traffic, banging doors or anything during the night. Very comfy bed, powerful shower, clean and useful facilities. Also lovely friendly lady on reception. Late checkout brilliant too. The beefeater attached to it is great as well. We arrived very tired from long journey and took advantage of the special offer for dinner and breakfast. Food was delicious, portions good and Holly our waitress was brilliant.”
