“I've been to a lot of different classes here over the years, and the teaching quality has always been great. They've got a ton of nice equipment (which they keep *very* clean), and lessons are always well planned out to challenge each person in the class. I've also done occasional private lessons to work on specific goals, and they've been really helpful each time. The instructors are friendly and approachable, and I'd absolutely recommend Bodybarre to people at any level of fitness. Lots of fun to be had!”

“Came here after reading reviews. We ordered wonton/ dumpling soup, Beef ho fun, salt and pepper tofu and mixed vegetables. The dumplings and wonton are huge in a well flavoured broth. The beef ho fun was nice. Loved the salt and pepper tofu. It was very light and crunchy. The ladies working there are very friendly and nice. A lot of Asians come here so you can tell it’s good food. Very extensive menu for a small eatery I would book at busier times. We came late afternoon. Next time will come earlier as they had already run out of roast duck and char Siu”

“I popped into Coffee Block for a quick brew and a teacake, and it absolutely made my morning. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and cheerful — she greeted every person who walked in with a big smile and genuine warmth. It was lovely to see how she chatted with the regulars, taking the time to ask about their day. The atmosphere felt so positive and welcoming, and the coffee was spot on. A lovely place all round, and I’ll definitely be returning soon!”

“First trip to Oldham town centre for almost 50 years! Oldham road once had pubs on almost every corner as you headed there from Manchester City Centre, many from the long gone Oldham brewery. Madge fancied a trip on the Metro and we spotted this pub in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Well worth the trip for just this corner pub. A bank of ten real ales. Great vibe plus a front pavement seating area. Madge found a new Oldham brewery..We are Wolf. Bar snacks incl sausage rolls. Great visit.”

“Great little cinema which is made especially enjoyable by the little introduction that the staff do on each film, giving a little insight into how it was made, or other films the director has made. The place is welcoming to everyone, and when my partner and I went to watch The Handmaiden, there were a wide variety of people in the audience, which is always good to see.”

“Absolutely fabulous night watching the production of 'Dad's Army'. Characters were so true to TV adaptation. Singing WW2 songs in the audience really added to the ambience.”

Such a great performance dealing with timeless issues in a contemporary way in a performance which really spoke to me. Wonderful to have touring acts perform at this venue (let's bring more if we can!) as well as traditional theatre performances by the players.”

“We went for Smugs one man show which was absolutely brilliant, it is a small theatre and worked well to give a really intimate feel. A lot going on behind the scenes to provide such a great show, for me it was everything the theatre should be, special mention for front of house staff who were lovely. Wish them ATB for the future.”

From first contact with Mark, my specific learning goals were given priority and I was put in touch with my instructor, Jordan Peacock who was simply superb at explaining complex concepts in a clear and engaging way and patient with questions and provided valuable feedback throughout the course. The course covered a wide range of advanced music production techniques and was expertly structured providing ample opportunity for hands-on practice. I certainly felt I had significantly levelled up by the end The studio space was well-equipped with professional grade software and hardware, allowing me to work with industry-standard tools and get real-world experience. I found the atmosphere at SEM Manchester really positive and encouraging. I felt very comfortable among tutors who clearly shared my passion for music production. “I’ve only been here twice, but it’s already becoming my favourite coffee shop. As someone who knows a fair bit about coffee quality, I can say their coffee is consistently fresh, well roasted, and clearly high quality. I’ve tried both the espresso and the cortado - the espresso was excellent, and the cortado had beautifully textured milk and was really well balanced. The customer service is honestly the best I’ve experienced in Manchester. Today, the tall guy behind the counter was genuinely interested in how my day was before even taking my order, which felt refreshing and sincere rather than scripted. Little things like that make a big difference. I’ll definitely keep coming back.”

“The first time I went in was my first time in Manchester. I came in as a customer and got a tattoo from Stephen. The following year, I came in as a tattoo artist, and Stephen and Dan are two fantastic people. I visited the museum with "RAMBO" and it was absolutely incredible. The studio is unique, the atmosphere is sensational. If you don't know or visit Rambo's, you don't know what tattooing is! For me, it's the best studio/museum.”
