“This place is a hidden gem! Don’t be fooled by some of the old fashioned decor, spend a night here and you realise it only add to the charm. What do you really need from a hotel, tidy, clean, great service, top breakfast, brilliant location. It may be a 3* in build but you are treated to a 5* stay!”

“Awesome garden stuff. We bought a lovely star shaped lantern, very bright and cheerful and some other essentials. Were disappointed there weren't any chicane mango pizzas.”

“Delicious chicken burger and sandwiches overall. I wouldn’t recommend the peanut butter and jelly milkshake -it was really disappointing -but the Oreo milkshake was nice. The sauces were all great, and the tenders were lovely. I tried both a sandwich and the burger. The sandwich was much better; the burger felt a bit bulked out with cabbage, though still tasty. Service was a bit slow -I ordered first but my meal came last out of our group of 11. Overall, I would recommend it for the food.”

“The girls at the village Starbucks are a real credit to the company what should have been a quick order of coffee turned into a pleasant transaction you rarely get today. it really brightened my day. Keep up the great service girls. If I unfortunately find myself back in Cheadle hopefully Claire Chloe and Millie will still be there ❤️”

“To experience this oddity in the modern world you cannot do it over a couple of drinks or a fleeting visit. It has historical and cultural depths that the locals are barely conscious of and only the regulars get it. Once you get it you'll find it difficult to let go. When I enter the MOP it feels like I'm putting on an old, but well loved jacket, with its creases that fits just right. Comfortable.”

“I've recently moved to the area and this was my first time in the Co-op. Lovely shop to get your last minute essentials, love that they are open until late, even on Sundays! There was a lovely member of staff who was really helpful during my visit, Hessam helped me get an item from the top shelf, such lovely customer service! Will definitely be revisiting on a Monday again!”

Why pay the stupid prices in certain other shops when you can get exactly the same product for half the price, in some cases lower. “Been here a few times over the years but first visit since 2020. A very traditional restaurant that has had a much needed make over; including finally updating the toilets. Draught Cobra is always welcome. They currently offer half price food from 5 pm to 6.30pm Monday to Thursday. Jorvic really enjoyed the food. All the classic dishes. Had very fresh poppadums with a generous pickle tray. Tasty lamb tikka and chilli chicken. Two good mains with one pilau rice and one naan. This food plus 4 pints less than £50. Food much improved from last visit. Will be back. They also do a good trade in take away, the phone constantly rings.”
