“I've had a great time living here, especially since Essential Student Living took over. The building itself is in a great location, right in the city about 5-10 mins from Victoria station, which makes everything super convenient. It is also really close to Angel Meadows park, which is to get outdoors in nature, which is rare in & around Manchester. The building is safe & secure and had everything I needed during my stay. Huge shoutout to David and the team who have done their absolute best to make the building better since taking over. :D”

“I had reason to discuss my medication I put in a request for the pharmacist and I received a call from Zahid Iqbal. He was very patient and listened to what I had to say, which was a lot. He asked questions regarding the issue and was very thorough. I have spoken to him previously and he is very friendly whilst being professional. “I’ve been living here for 4 years and haven’t experienced most of the issues mentioned. The building quality has been good in my experience, and I find the location very convenient for everyday life. It’s generally quiet — I’ve never heard the loud plumbing or shower noises mentioned in other comments. My flat is bright and comfortable, and regular cleaning and care really help keep things in good condition.”

“This was a last minute book for me and my partner for the parklife festival. After reading the reviews we were very nervous to stay here and expected a lot worse than what we have experienced. We stayed in room 19B and it was very clean and modern ( this was just a regular room and not the luxury rooms) the mattress was not the comfiest but we both got a good sleep. We did have a shared bathroom with 3 other rooms however the bathroom was also very modern and clean. There was a variety of mirrors in the room and felt very homely. Over all our stay we was very pleased with and believe the reviews on this hotel are not accurate.We only payed £65 for the room. The rooms are small and there is an abandoned nursing home facing the hotel but the hotel had high enough gates to feel safe as it can be worrying due to the area in Manchester that this is located in which does look very run down. Adding on, we chose to park the car on the street although they offer car parking on site in which is £10 per car but there was no damage to the car after leaving it there over night.”

“Where do I begin, from the get go I knew this hotel was for me, dirty and cheap. We was one of the lucky ones in the hotel who actually got bedding, there was a bit of a down side due to no shower working but that’s easily fixable as the legend known as IAN In reception said he would get the boys on to it thanks for forgetting to charge us Ian you are the good guy here and me and the boys love ya until next year stay safe and please stay open! “I have rented for many years and always found it difficult to work with letting agents as they always seem to just want to let the property and then disappear. UK Rooms were a real breath of fresh air. Very knowledgeable team and made sure all my requests were considered so I had a nice home to move into. They are also prompt at dealing with my my maintenance requests and sent proper tradespeople rather than basic handymen. I couldn't have asked for more.”
