“Came over to Base Camp in Stockport this weekend to purchase some Altberg boots. Mike was very helpful in explaining the different models and options available. It's definitely worth having your feet measured by a professional for this sort of thing and I'm really happy with my purchase. Base Camp also have a great selection of Paramo products in-store, looking forward to coming back and picking out a jacket later in the year.”

“Gary is a fantastic dogwalker! He has really taken the time to get to know our Whippet (Otis) and has built a great relationship with him. Our dog loves going on the long walks Gary provides (rain or shine). Gary is very reliable, trustworthy and communicative and clearly loves his job based on the time and effort he puts in. Would not hesitate to recommend Gary for anyone considering someone to walk or look after their pup.”

“I came for a ski boot fitting today and was seen promptly by George who introduced himself to us and explained the process. George was absolutely brilliant from start to finish - he was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. In addition to the boots he gave me excellent advice on clothing. It was a really great positive experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend George and the team at Ellis Brigham.”

“Great place to learn to sail. Coarse was over 2days at the weekend and this one was run by Chris. He explained all that would be involved for us to do throughout the coarse. We spent half the time each day out on the water and the only issue was lack of wind but was still able to get practice in to pass the coarse. Very relaxed friendly place and the young volunteers who help us were very understanding of us being novices. Due to issues of lack of wind had been offered couple free sessions when we want to help us get more experience. Would recommend this outdoor centre to all wanting to learn to sail or do other water based activities.”

“I have been wanting the Clairemont Way Fisherman Sandals for the past few months but couldn't get them online in a size 8. I thought I would go into a physical store to see if I got lucky. A male staff member said that they unfortunately only had a size 7.5 in stock. I assumed that it wasn't meant to be, but straight away, he said that he could make a call and see whether they have some in another store. Not only did they have my size available, but he sorted the order at the till to ensure that I could have the shoes delivered to my home address. I really appreciated how attentive he was in finding a solution so that I could get the pair of shoes that I wanted. I would definitely come here again. This was on Wednesday 30th July at 2:30pm.”

She gave me advice, and took her time to explain the pros and cons on each of the bags I was looking at. She even put 20kg weights into each bag so I could try them out and experience how it would feel ! Thank you so much Jade”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“I really do not know what to even say!! I paid just shy of £120 for 4 kids and 2 adults and I swear, I saw less of my partner than I did the kids! Honestly, this was the most epic chaotic day we've had in ages!!! 11/10”

“So, had to take back a pair of walking boots today. These had been fine through the dry summer but now the weather has turned I found out that they were not waterproof as described and the left boot had developed an irritating squeak when walking. Fortunately I still had the receipt and even though the boots we 10 months old there was not quibbling and I was refunded straightaway by a very helpful young assistant. Love this shop, I could spend a small fortune in there and always find the staff most pleasant and helpful.”

“My children have been going to Wild Space (weekly) for a couple of years now and show no signs of wanting to stop, which with a teen to please is testament itself to how great Wild Space Forest School is! Trudy is a fantastic leader and the whole place has a lovely welcoming, friendly vibe as well as a beautiful position conveniently placed in the heart of beautiful Diggle. Throughly recommend.”

“I am so happy that I found Forest Feet! My son started in September and has loved every moment being there. As a first time mum and the parent of a SEN child it was quite nerve wrecking to find a nursery that would suit my sons free spirited nature as well as give him everything he needed for his development. Nikita is such a kind hearted and loving individual who has a real passion for children to develop in an environment and ethos that promotes self-esteem, creativity, confidence and independence. She leads her team in this ethos and has some amazing staff in the nursery. Nikita has worked tirelessly to create and adapt to my sons needs which has been an immense support to not only him but myself also. The nursery compromises of an indoor space with a Montessori layout where children can learn and play independently. The outdoor area is wonderful with various activities for the children where they can freely explore and play within nature. If you are looking for somewhere that allows your child to grow holistically at their own pace with the loving support of great individuals then this is the place for you!”

“After our initial party booking was cancelled, We Are Adventures absolutely saved the day with an "amazing", (my 7 yr olds words), archery party. The staff were brilliant, the kids had tons of fun and it was all well organised and relaxed for the parents. Thank you so much.”

“This a a very well kept public car park. The lifts are clean and the attendant can often be see walking around on duty. Last month I miss placed my phone and when i rang it a kind gentleman answered only to tell me I had left it on the pay machine. He had it in his office waiting for me. When I arrived back the gentleman Patrick was very polite and opened the barrier so I don't have to pay for the car park again. He is a Real treasure, lovely meeting you Patrick. Keep up the good work.”
