“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”

Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. “My partner booked Ela for a surprise date night! It was ‘nice’ .. I asked for olives while ordering my drink and was told no? Thought this was odd! But Nevermind! Order was olives, Saganaki (just tasted like very burned cheese) a trio of dips with hummus, a cheese pastry thing (can’t remember the name) mixed grill, Kleftiko - Wasn’t the best? Watery and flavourless (I had had it elsewhere and thought the same so maybe it just isn’t for me?) not sure I would recommend or go back! But I do know other people who really like it!”

“Fantastic restaurant serving freshly cooked Palestinian food of a high standard and with lovely warm service that is attentive and efficient. We’ve eaten at many Middle Eastern restaurants and this is one the best we’ve been to. The Knafeh is excellent and ends a wonderful meal. We also loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and strawberry, mango and pineapple smoothie! If only they had Palestinian ice cream!”

“Had the full English breakfast as did hubbie - quality ingredients, non greasy, cooked to perfection. Daughter had steak baguette and sil salmon with scrambled eggs. All of the food was delicious, served hot and well presented. Service good and considering the quality / portion sizes good value.”

The restaurant is clean, the service is smooth and fast, and the staff was truly excellent. As for the food, the fillet steak with green peppercorns was superb, the seafood risotto was excellent, and the breaded cheese. They use quality ingredients and you can easily tell their food tastes delicious and authentic. They have a fantastic meal deal where you can get a gyro, a drink and a cake for around a tenner. The place is nice, quiet and with some beautiful Greek decorations on the wall.”

“Lovely Pizza Express, our Waiter was wonderful as always and one of the reasons we are repeat customers. The warm atmosphere was very well appreciated considering the weather outside is awful!! It is a little expensive but you pay for what you get, which is delicious food, comfortable atmosphere and Staff that really show they care Will be back again soon!!”

“If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”

“Gluten free menu attached as I couldn't find it online. Some good options, food came quickly and was hot. I wished there were chips on the gluten free menu but jacket potatoes were a nice change. Service was slightly slow but was rectified quickly. They have gluten free beer which is nice. It was very busy which was nice to see considering it's tucked away.”
