Premier lodging in Manchester

“The rooms are good for one or two nights if you have a day/night out in Manchester and you're not planning on spending much time in there. Small and basic but had everything we needed. Comfy, clean bed. Bear in mind that bathrooms are separate but there's one on each floor (so you'll be sharing with others. This wasn't a problem as there's not many people on each floor) The pub was a lot nicer than expected. It's great that you can roll out of bed and straight downstairs for breakfast (Decent full English and discount for guests) or have a quick drink before heading out. I did hear that one of the rooms didn't have blinds or curtains which could make for a difficult night's sleep. Bring ear plugs just incase. One side is quiet but our side was slightly noisy but was to be expected as Psych fest was on (which we attended and was great) we still managed to sleep quite well. The location is great! Really central and has a few bars nearby. There's a really nice brunch place across the road where they do good bloody Mary's. I'd definitely stay here again, it was great for the price and location. “What a fabulous team at Kitchen Envy. Paul, his son (also) Paul, Gaz the kitchen fitter, Lewis who did the quartz and his team…every one of them went the extra mile. Paul helped me design the kitchen, although I knew roughly what I wanted, he guided me the right way. I’m so pleased with the finished result. Considering my kitchen was made bespoke, the price was so reasonable. All really nice people. Five stars and more. Many thanks to all.”

“Fantastic hotel. As a corporate, I've stayed in many hotels and I can honestly say that the village cheadle is the best in terms of service, attentiveness / friendliness of staff, food quality is top quality, gym and spa facilities excellent. Im a member of David Lloyd and I can tell you the quality of the gym and spa at the village cheadle is on a par to DL at a fraction of the price. Village cheadle is 3* hotel but in my opinion it far surpasses the other 4* hotels in the vicinity”

“We chose Hilltop Country House as our wedding venue back in 2020 for our June 2022 wedding. It is perfection - the staff, the food & drink, the surroundings, etc. Our wedding day was simply magical. Clare was available for us whenever we needed her - nothing was ever too much and it made the wedding planning so enjoyable! I would highly, highly, highly recommend Hilltop Country House - there is a reason it has been voted the best wedding venue in Cheshire!”

“The above review is irrelevant and fake!!! My family and I stayed with Anthony for two nights and found Anthony to be the most warmest person I have ever met. Nothing is much of a trouble for him. He makes you feel welcome and home from home. The accommodation is very clean and homely. Where the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is eat as much or as little as you want. Fresh fruit and bottled still water is provided for you in your room. Peaceful surroundings, a perfect base for travelling to Manchester and surrounding areas.”

“Lovely stay at this gorgeous flat Me and my friends stayed there for nearly 3 weeks, the flat is very clean and tidy , with beautiful furniture and equipped with all the necessary utensils. Great views and all the shops were nearby Tesco extra is a 4 min walk from the building . We were delighted to stay there, I would highly recommend this place especially to those attending Samson’s course as its just next to the academy. The host “Abu kar” was extremely helpful, easy to communicate with and available to help with anything.”

“So clean in the corridors and entrance halls. Good security making you feel safe. Great sainsburys just down stairs and a 2 mins walk to the quays. Free bus to peel Park uni just outside and a tram stop also. Great views and apartments are lovely.”

“Stayed here recently with family and small dog. Loved the decor and comfort of this house. Comfy bed and well equipped. It was spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. Located in a quiet cul de sac with parking. Owners very responsive when messaged and very helpful.”

“I would highly reccomend Debbie. She is so lovely and approachable and genuinely cares for your pet. She walks my dog 3 times a week around all the local areas he loves. We regularly receive pictures and updates after the walks and he is always happily exhausted when we return from a long day at work. 5* and a great big 'Woof' from our Labrador Ollie”

“Booked two seperate rooms on a Friday when attending a concert at co op live. Its about a 25 minute walk from the venue and there is frequent buses across the road into the centre, journey takes about 10 minutes. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Guy at reception was lovely. The club/restaurant downstairs was closed when we stayed so cannot comment on noise levels.”

“A gem in the travelodge hotels. Super friendly staff, quiet location. The only thing to let it down was lack of disabled parking bays. 2 had cars in with no blue badge but nobody polices it .”

“I wanted to just leave a thank you for Hammad Shaheen (hotel manager) / anyone else others the who send my lost property back to me when I'd left it behind. This hotel isn't glitz and glam, its price represents what you're getting, we stayed on new years day, 5 people in the group paid on average £43pp, in Manchester you just can't find those prices. As long as we had a bed we were happy. On the other hand in our particular room it had a tv, kettle, iron, etc, it was more than well equipped for the price. I would say if you book this hotel you need to be happy with a 'rough around the edges' sort of hotel experience, don't be expecting what you get or hilton or of the big chains - I've stayed in some fancier places but most of the time I'm out the room, All said and done it got the job done for us, and if you're not spending £££ don't expect some 4 star hotel experience. Price represents what you get. On the other hand if the price is similar to more luxurious bookings and you want that, definitely choose other options.”

“Lively but not noisy, people and pets gather to share food, nearby stalls sell snacks and hot food, and even flowers and fruits coexist with fine wine. I love the atmosphere and space, but unfortunately I just passed by this time.”

“Lovely little hotel, the rooms are large and clean, much nicer than a generic premier Inn etc. The breakfast took a while to arrive as it was cooked for me rather than a buffet, excellent sausages. The only small complaint is that the room was very warm even with the window wide open all night”

“10/10 - The Stay Inn Manchester is everything you want from a budget hotel, but much, much more. Right on the doorstep of the City Centre, and very affordable. Where this ‘Budget’ Hotel differs from others in the field, is that this one is supremely well run, with an array of truly fantastic staff, for who, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks during a difficult house move, and The Stay Inn Manchester bent over backwards to accommodate us, and help us during this very busy time. Friendly - Clean - Fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend this Hotel to you.”
