“This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. “Good fortune has been my new main Chinese restaurant for good reasons. One of those reasons is how succulent the crispy chilli beef is it’s like heaven and not to mention how nice the egg fried rice is. And the most I’ve ever had to wait for my food is 10mins at max. Overall just an amazing Chinese restaurant, very nice servers and amazing food and price”

“I visited Subway recently and was served by Joe. Despite the store being clearly understaffed and a constant stream of Deliveroo orders coming in, Joe remained calm, patient, and professional throughout. It did take a bit longer than usual to get my order, but it was clear the delay wasn’t his fault – he was handling a lot on his own. Joe made sure to greet every customer politely, took time to get each order right, and didn’t let the pressure affect his service. I really appreciated his positive attitude and attention to detail, even in a hectic situation. If anything, Subway needs to make sure their staff aren’t left to manage such a high workload alone. Joe did a great job under the circumstances, and his customer service deserves recognition. I visited on the 29th June 2025 around 17:30.”

“The wait is a little long to get served the food (approx 40 minutes) however, this is worth every second. Food is very flavoursome, hearty and big portions for what you pay. Everything is well made, seasoned and fresh. The baller’s combo was £25 at the time of this review and is almost big enough for 2 people.”

“I have been ordering from Domino's - Eccles for the past three years. Let me tell you this - whoever is building these pizzas isn't playing. I customise my own with 5 or 7 toppings. Usually, when you do this in other places, the pizza guys are very scarce about the toppings - one or two olives here, two or three green peppers there, and if you look closely you might find the extra mushroom you've paid for. But not Domino's Eccles. Just see the pictures attached - these have been taken at different times, from different pizzas. The toppings are abundant, the pizza always arrives hot and fresh, I have never had an issue with these people before but I have had with other places. So I don't understand the bad reviews. But take it from someone who loves their pizza - it's worth it.”

“It is one of the best pizzerias in town, if not the best. The pizzas are piping hot, fresh, well prepared with love and passion. I had had their Pepperoni, Tandoori Chicken and Jerk Chicken pizzas previously and they were all scrumptious and flavorsome, highlighting their commitment to making a pizza most suitable for your appetite. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a place with not only good-quality but freshly served pizzas with an absolutely lovely and cordial atmosphere thanks to the wonderful people running the place! Definitely a 10/10!”

“Wow. What a fabulous meal that covered a group of people with an assortment of allergies. Never have been able to go to a restaurant and know that all their food was egg free and nut free. There was a great selection of gluten-free food too. The food was cooked to perfection, the taste, there aren’t sufficient words to describe how good it was. Would we go again? Absolutely. I have already recommended it to 2 people this morning and it’s only 10am.”

“Accidently today we have discovered that little gem. We were heading to take away that turned out to be shut down. My husband decided to give it a go and try out new place that took over and it was amazing. Very kind and polite staff (maybe owners not sure), food was absolutelly delicious, very presentable in take away trays. We have ordered few meals. I had korean spicy (very spicy) chicken with rice/kimchi/ 2 small pieces of sushi/ 2 crispy gyoza dumplings and 2 veg spring rolls. Portion was satisfying, it cost £9 or £9.50 ( worth every penny) none of the sauces were mixing or touching. It was full of different flavours. I honestly enjoyed my meal. My husband had katsu curry with chicken and same sides as i had. Chicken was deliciously crispy and sauce was wonderful. My mother in law had pad thai, portion was very big, and she enjoyed her meal until the last bite. We had also 2 different types of sushi. Can tell it was done fresh and very carefully. It was very presentable. I think tomorrow we will try other their meals. Very nice place with kind staff, i wish them the best and hope they keep up their high standard. We are glad we found this place.”

“I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“Lovely friendly staff, very cute setting. The food is authentic, filling and very tasty. I recommend the Jollof rice and the curry goat. Had a great chat with the owner about quality of food and having Jerk, French Afro Caribbean food in the area. Amazing food”
