“THIS is the pub to go to if ever you have the chance. And if you've been before, but not since late 2023 - ga again. New, young owners have revitalised the Tavern whilst keeping all the old, well lived traditional features. The food is fantastic, dogs are very welcome. There is even home-made doggy ice-cream, dog snacks and hand-made dog leads for sale. There's a small tuck shop and board games for kids. Lovely walks all around. WINNER OF PUB OF THE YEAR 2025.”

“Such a nice little pub to unwind, especially if you don’t want anything crazy for the night but just enjoying a drink with friends and have a great meal. Food is really nice and it came in fast. The staff is friendly and thoughtful. They have darts and table tennis so you can enjoy a game while at it too! Recommend.”

“Absolutely beautiful place! We stayed in the deluxe family room with our 4 month old which was really big with two bedrooms open to each other joined by steps with a king bed and double bed. You can reach the bedroom via the path outside which is good for a pram, or via the stairs through the pub. The owner and all staff are extremely friendly and chatty. We stayed for one night and had breakfast which was a lovely cooked breakfast with a good choice, and they also had cereal and yoghurt options with fresh juices, The bar is welcoming and had a good selection of drinks, also had their lovely little dogs walking round too. It’s very popular and busy, we stayed in October so I can imagine it’s very popular in the summer. The kids playground was good too with the animals in it and two lovely goats. We’d highly recommend this pub either for food or to stay too, and we’d love to return.”

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”

“I occasionally go to Supreme Grill. The food’s really nice and tasty . I not sure if they cook vegan or vegetarian food. We usually go late in the evening just before it shuts down most of the food has been sold . So it shows how popular it is.”

“We are regular customers with Cheers and always get home delivery, we have had one bad experience with the food. As regular customers, we know what we enjoy, and one time it just wasn’t tasteful, chips were frozen and the food standard was very poor. We considered never ordering again, but Micheal has absolutely rectified any doubts we ever had about ordering again. He personally took time to ensure if we were to order again, the food would be to high standards. I just want to say, they have absolutely smashed it out of the park this time. Everything was so perfect, the food was delivered personally, HOT and FRESH! Our usual order was even better than the usual standards, everything had a little extra and we are so so happy that the Bistro is back to the high standards we enjoy so much. “This is our Fifth time in here. Never failed. We had the Brunch menu, my Lily had crêpe and she said it is tastes like pancakes which she likes very much. And my Ami had a nice chicken burger. This is the first time I’ve taken the time to write a review, not because I didn’t want to, but because I never felt the need—Long Bar speaks for itself. But I do think it’s important to acknowledge the people who put passion into what they do, and Chef Dave and the whole team here deserve all the recognition. As a proud Bramhall local and a small business owner myself, I believe in supporting our village’s businesses. Places like Long Bar make all the difference in creating a welcoming community.
