“Good for coeliacs. We have been here twice now to get my son some dinner and they was able to provide us a kids dinner, butty, crisp, and home made cake/brownie with a drink. Good when we only live round the corner and can find something convenient for him. They really have thought about alot off people this cafe, people that are not able to talk or write are able to place pictures onto the menu to show what they want. Good community cafe.”

“Saturday 17th May 2025 This pub in Hyde necmxt to the train station is not just a historical gem with a proper Clientelle, and the person behind was polite and helpful Good banter was had in the fantastic pub it was good fun. There were 4 fantastic not big brewet ales on tonight with good rock background music next door to the Hyde central station This pub, when drinking real ales in Hyde, is an essential visit”

“First time dining there tonight and we can’t wait to be back! Shocked we had a hidden gem on our doorstep and didn’t realise. We had a mix of Sunday lunches, burgers and steak at our table and there wasn’t a bad thing to say about it. The beef on the roast literally melted on your tongue. Very good staff who checked up on us a lot to make sure we had everything we wanted. Many thanks to Jason as well, he was fab looking after us, very approachable and witty, which made the meal even better. We will be back soon!”

“Can't fault it for what you pay. We paid £66 per double room and booked 2. My wife, children and I had an overnight stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff where lovely, restaurant area was really nice, building itself from the outside is nice. Yes some bits are maybe a bit dated but what are you expecting for £66 a room.”

The staff are amazing, from the beautiful Carolyn who greets you upon arrival through to all members of clinical team - Sarah has looked after me for a couple of years now and is just the best ! Rachel and Albert are just fabulous, their attention to detail to create the perfect smile is amazing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! “Tried here for the first time today when we arrived we were greeted with open arms and seated straight away which was a shock because it was soooo busy..the food was really good with a very generous portion and really good value for money.. Drinks menu was massive and beer and cider was so cheap.. Excellent place and well worth a visit..”

“Gluten free menu attached as I couldn't find it online. Some good options, food came quickly and was hot. I wished there were chips on the gluten free menu but jacket potatoes were a nice change. Service was slightly slow but was rectified quickly. They have gluten free beer which is nice. It was very busy which was nice to see considering it's tucked away.”

Paul couldn't have delivered better service. he greeted us warmly on arrival and congratulated us both, which took me by surprise. “Just had a lovely family lunch here, I can highly recommend the fish and chips, although all the meals looked delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pub is cosy with a great beer garden that has a selection of climbing frames for the kids. Would definitely recommend a visit.”

However, I’m giving it 4 stars because although the food was excellent, we had to ask for our drinks as they weren’t ready, which meant a bit of a wait. That said, the place had a lovely, cozy atmosphere overall.”
