“Lovely food and staff really enjoyed my full English veggie breakfast ..super impressed definitely visiting again..and the had my favourite brown sauce a must for me”
“Proper shop! Great selection of high quality, fresh produce at reasonable prices, from lovely people. Sandwiches are consistently excellent, quite possibly the best money can buy. Very highly recommend!”
“First time I have been here. The staff are very friendly the place is great my dog loved it and made new friends. Overall great time and experience definitely come again”
“Very good range of world food options fresh and also packaged. Also small selection of fresh meat and veg and olives.”
“Hina was very lovely and kind to us. Offering the best of service :) so sweet would recommend !”
“The food was amazing. It was my first time trying Injera and I'd love to go again. Lots of vegetarian options too.”
“All the food is very delicious and tasty. We like kubaidah and Naan and qabli Palau. The meat is very tender juicy and delicious. The atmosphere is cool here. It's not a big restaurant so it's always full or even fully booked. You need to book it in advance to secure the table here.”
“Great spot for always having at least one gluten free beer on tap, usually a couple. I'm a big fan of when they've got locals like Brightside. Generally a good atmosphere whenever I come. Sometimes a lot busier than others, probably event related as it's very close to a number of live venues. That said, I can often find a seat in the second, quieter room pictured below. I would appreciate GF food options, but I understand this is exceptionally difficult considering they do pizzas. The music is almost never particularly loud, which means you can always converse. The only setback would be that some of the beers can be pricey, but this is absolutely to be expected given they are quality craft beers rather than mass products, and I say this is one of the few spots where it's worth it”
“A vibrant community of local artists working with pewter, clay, wood, metal, textiles, and more. Their studios are spread across two floors in a lovely bright historical building. There's a cafe on the ground floor, too! Whether you're looking for a gift, a new piece of jewellery, a plant pot, or simply a greeting card, you can find it here - and support local artists and crafts people!”
“Laura served me and was very patient and kind. Great service from her. The sweet and sour chicken was delicious.”
“Such a lovely place. Wonderful food, volunteers, people and atmosphere. There is a nice store that sells nice wine, soaps, salt, jewellery, greeting cards including wooden greetings cards, chutney, tea, jams..and many more. For me, it's love at first sight.”
“Very, very good venue. The quayside theatre is very small and intimate, but holds a good crowd. We were there to see the "Ideal" stage show (which was absolutely brilliant) and it was a great trip. Two minor issues were that it was unclear when the doors would open, leaving quite a few people like us standing outside in rain and wind, which was not Ideal (see what I did there) Also the toilet roll dispensers are utterly dreadful, where you have to try and pull it out of a very tight opening and it invariably tears close to the holder. You know the ones I'm talking about... The rosé wine is delightful...”
“We went there to celebrate our friend’s birthday - food is delicious - fish is outstanding, with the candles heating it to keep warm - grilled pork is a must try - soft shelled crabs with curry is recommended - the coconut jelly drink is exotic - staff are friendly; before she took the cake out, she had played ‘Happy birthday’ as the background music for us, which is very considerate - reservation is recommended, as it may be crowded on weekends”
“We went for brunch and both had the bacon on sourdough ciabatta with black pudding and one with a fried egg. They were much larger than expected (no complaint there!), perfectly cooked and delicious. Allergens were checked for on ordering. The staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Loved the style and atmosphere, looking forward to going again. Oh and the coffee was fab!”
“Had a impromptu lunch date at this cafe and it was wonderful! the atmosphere was relaxing and very welcoming. The staff are warm and helpful ,we had to a make dietary request and they accommodated it and it wasn't any bother. cafe is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, they have different types of chairs which was a life saver for my back! Absolutely loved the food , a little expensive I would say but definitely worth it , best BBQ chicken cheese toastie I've had and the salad that accompanied it was gorgeous. Just what was need on a hot day. I would definitely recommend this place !”
“Went in today after visiting BOSS, and I didn’t look back simply because of the quality and fantastic service by Chris. Very welcoming with a friendly approachable and went through many clothes with me. I spent well over my budget and worth every penny. I will on out be shopping here now, no more Cheshire oaks for me. Thanks Chris”
“Pretty good for a small shop. They do have considerable amount of South indian, sri lankan groceries.”
“If you're looking for some delicious and authentic Italian street food in Manchester Arndale, then Wolf is the place to be. They offer a variety of options including wraps, salads, and pizzas. I've tried their pizza and it was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful too. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!”
“Had the most amazing cheese and onion pie for lunch yesterday. Everyone is so welcoming, lovely music and just so friendly. Beautiful place and people.”
“Had a few lockdown takeouts from here over summer so was brilliant to get to eat in house tonight. Great service and lovely food. Good selection of tantalizingly priced cocktails too. Espresso martinis that were almost as good as my own. Book early. This place is a gem.”
“Not my first review, but another stay of over a week at this hotel. Decent location, glad I'm not parking on the grounds though with a £3 daily fee, when it was free till recently. Staff terrific again. Special shout out to Bruce who was brilliant with our reservation, as well as Amar and Hannah, who are fantastic. Finally, we often get in very late and see Nathan, who does the graveyard shift, and is another terrific member of staff. All the best to everyone and see you again soon, I'm sure.”
“Great experience, Zizzi has always been an untraditional Italian pizzeria. Always having new dishes. The staff are really friendly and Rowan helped us a lot specially with the kids toys made my daughter forget about the wanting time of the order.”
“Great service, Was a little disappointed at first as what we were served did not look like the image on menu (in relation to size) however was immediately offered more- which resulted in us taking some back home. Dined with younger daughter who has the sushi bug and was a pleasant overall experience. Cheers guys”
“Lovely place food amazing.Samuel very attentive and professional Lovely manner. Will certainly recommend and be visiting again very soon. Beautiful food. ❤️”
“Amazing Chinese store with a huge variety of halal options from across Asia. You can find products from many different Asian countries all in one place. The selection is impressive and hard to find elsewhere. Highly recommended — the experience really reminded me of Hong Kong with its diversity, flavours, and vibrant atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back.”
“Ebony gave us a super warm welcome and really looked after us. As someone in a wheelchair, she was incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable. It's always a pleasure to come here to eat. The food was fresh and hot, too!”
“I'm a tourist from Australia we found Zizzi 3 months ago and love it. The food is great , the app and perks are fun and we get value for our money. Well done. Thanks to Tanmay for his friendliness.:)”
“Great location, fantastic arrangements and products are well priced. With adequate car park for both able and disabled.”
“Came for bottomless brunch with the girls, drinks were replenished promptly and cocktails and drinks within the prosecco menu were really good quality compared to other bottomless brunch locations. Everyone on the table were able to pick specific bottomless brunch menus meaning we could have choose whether we wanted the cocktail or prosecco menu, which meant everyone was happy. Staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. FOOD … WOW! The food was incredible, piping hot and really good portions! We’ve already booked our next visit! Highly recommend!”
“I had an excellent experience at the bar in the Marriott thanks to Wade. He’s one of those rare bartenders who makes you feel welcome from the moment you sit down. Professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive, Wade mixed fantastic drinks and offered great recommendations based on what I liked. What stood out most was his service—fast, thoughtful, and consistently upbeat, even when the bar got busy. You can tell he really enjoys what he does, and it shows in the atmosphere he creates. If you’re staying at the Marriott (or even if you’re just passing through), make sure to stop by the bar and ask for Wade. He’ll make your visit a great one. He really made my birthday so special x”
