“This is an absolute treat! Instead of being in France due to industrial action, we sought to bring France to us and so glad we did. The food was high quality and in comfortable surroundings. Steak tartare as good as I have ever had (minus the egg yolk, because this in Britain!). A touch on the pricey side, but in this particular case, you do get what you pay for. Very good”

“A lively rock bar selling great food and drinks. Great decor, neon signs and some good rock tunes playin too. We went for a rock n roll bingo night, you get tickets online ours were £12 each. Its unreserved seating so if your in a group get there early. Its a really great night, winning free shots and dancing yo the tunes.”

“We booked a table following rave reviews from friends who had visited the restaurant. There were 11 of us dining and we have to say that the food has to be up there with any other Indian food we have eaten (most of the family are Indian). We will definitely be going back and highly recommend a visit. Not only was the food amazing the staff (especially the owner) are professional and friendly. A great service all around. “Google did not hear my search for the Gait in correctly and directed me to this by mistake. I did not attend but Google assumed that I had and listed my review for the Gait inn at Millington I'm error. So this is to correct it. No fault of the Gate which I will attend next time I am in their location. I'm sure it's fine but I only post about my experience not Google errors.”

“Very good pub owned by Manchester Metropolitan University and run by the student union. The pub is a tap for the Bollington Brewery and had five cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I visited. Lots of outdoor seating most of it covered.”

“I am very happy I stayed at the Waterside Hotel and had breakfast there. They take good care of the guests and accommodate funny requests when possible. My special thanks to Adele, she has a good eye for detail and contributed to starting the days on a good mood =) Also thanks to kitchen staff! Good work! Those egg Benedict... And the pancakes... “I wish I can give more then 5 stars to this place, And that's all only for staff , amazing manager and the host we had all staff members were brilliant. Every gaming and fun place can have ups and downs with maintenance and games but it's they way how they handles it and how quickly they act on it We celebrated our twin boys birthday had lots of fun. Unfortunately I forgot the names of staff members but we were booked today afternoon for birthday party 12:00 pm And our host Hijabi girl she was awesome top notch customer service and hospitality. Best place to have kids and adults birthday party or you can just have get together or fun day out as adults or for kids”

“Wow, wow, wow... What an amazing Gay Bar on Canal Street, Manchester. We all attended this bar for afternoon drinks. The weather was good enough to sit outside, the Halloween decorations were totally amazing. We shall always visit this place when in Manchester and we were lucky enough to meet the guy that did the Halloween decorations, he also does the Christmas ones too.”

“This is a lovely pub house with some outdoor tables. It’s so leisure to sit between the green building and a grassland. The fish and chip is perfect and the fried onion is crispy enough. I really enjoyed the chocolate sundae too.”

“Our second visit and again, an absolutely fantastic evening! Superb food, all 3 courses were fantastic just like last time. The house red is brilliant too! The pasta and pizza were great and the ricotta cheesecake was to die for! So so good! Outdoor dinning was lovely in the courtyard. Already looking forward to going back again soon! Highly recommend, gluten free and vegan options available. Perfect for couples and families. It’s an absolute little gem!”

“Fantastic Bar with amazing people running it, and such a friendly crowd inside all round great atmosphere. Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. My pug loves going, I have a pint she has some biscuits!”

For instance, I requested a perfectly cooked bacon butty with the fat cut off, and they delivered flawlessly. Moreover, the cafe exudes a pleasant ambiance with its neat and well-organized interior, accompanied by a charming outside seating area. “I ordered on just eat and I made comments of things I didn’t want in my breakfast and as expected I were listened to. The food was absolutely amazing. Me and my other half come in here sometimes and I can say we are never disappointed. The lady and gentleman who own this place are very accommodating and so kind. As a pregnant woman nice tasty food is always great so if you want the best then head here because it’s absolutely delicious! Thanks again ❤️”

“The Black Friar has been amazing to work with for our friendship group's annual Christmas lunch. They made the entire booking process extremely easy, with all the T&Cs clearly outlined from the start. On the day we were looked after by Jess, who was incredible, very quick to respond to any issues raised, never kept anyone waiting, so accommodating with our various quirks (like pictures), and was easy to reach when needed without making it seem like hovering. And always with a smile, of course. Truly, truly a standout member of the team deserving of all the praise. The food at the Black Friar was also divine, incredibly generous portions (that I admit, have bested me) and every bite was a pleasure for all the senses. Our whole group was very happy with the afternoon we got to spend there and we will definitely be looking into coming back for next year's annual Christmas lunch, a total gem of a pub.”
