“Bought a super king ottoman bed frame and mattress from them last Thursday and it was delivered the following Friday. Can’t argue with those timescales! The bed is fantastic and I genuinely can’t believe the quality for the price I’ve paid. I’ve been in store a few times and every time they’ve been really friendly and helpful. Even if you’re after something they don’t have, ask them because they’ll do their best to help source it for you! Lucky to have a shop like this so close to us. 10/10 would definitely recommend!”

“Me and my partner come here alot, either to buy or sell. Always greated with highest professionalism and friendliness, get on well with all the workers. Today I went in after a bad day of my phone breaking and no one being able to fix it. I was helped to the fullest to get a phone in my budget, I did have to go back with it (personal problem) and was helped by a very kind, understanding and helpful worker I want to say his name was jerry I'm so bad with names. He spent quite a while helping me find a suited phone and sort out the other phone so I can get it swapped over. A can not thank you enough all of you for just giving me a little light on my bad day. Highly recommend this shops, always full of interesting things and for sure one of the best second hand shops I have been in!!”

“We had a fantastic time at The Bake House! After finding out our originally planned venue for afternoon tea was closed we called the Bake House and they accommodated us at the last minute! We were too late to order afternoon tea but they did their best to give us the experience by plating up our sandwiches into a platter and putting our chosen cakes on a cake stand. Delicious baked good, teas coffees and scrumptious milkshakes for the kids. 100% recommend!”

“This is one of our local go-to places and it kept us sane throughout the autumn and spring lockdowns. Great coffee and friendly service, top tunes and now toasties and also booze! What's not to like? The seating is outdoors but some of it is covered and they have blankets for when it's cold. Top marks!”

“I came into store today after booking a collection online. My experience was great. I was served quickly by a member of staff who was brilliant! I ordered Post Crete and it was heavy so, having a leg injury, I asked would someone please carry it to my car. They immediately said they would! They were great to chat to in thw process, asked me how I was with my injury, etc. Great member of staff and very professional, fast service. I'll have to pop in more! “Really helpful customer assistant. Wish I could remember his name. Called in late afternoon Saturday. Items we wanted assistant said had to be ordered; wouldn't arrive until midday Sunday. No good for us as we were leaving the caravan site Sunday morning. Then something came into his mind and he looked on computer and the items were in stock in the Bolton store. Said we could pay and then go off and collect them immediately. Brilliant. Did this. Saved us having to drive much further distance to our local Screwfix when we got home. Many thanks”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”
