“Called in for the first time today just as I was passing. Bought a few things then thought I’d visit the cafe for coffee and cake . Really nice small cafe. Totally spotless and the most amazing thing was the great service and friendliness of the lovely lady who works there. ( blonde plaited pony tail ) Thank you so much . “I had a couple of guinness. No food. Didnt see they had Murphys until late so i will be back for a pint of that They have tayto Great atmosphere here, people enjoying the craic or watching the GAA. I visited this pub when it was the Tavern. I wrote a bad review amd critised whoever was running it, as it seems like a nice wee spot. The new people who have taken it over have put some love into this. Well done. I went in with low expectations and was proved utterly wrong. I cant understand how they can offer a free buffett. I would urge you to give this place a go.”

“I had my hair colored and cut in October, and Jodie was my stylist. I had an old balayage and wanted to go back to basics. She was so helpful and friendly! I told her what I wanted (or just a rough idea of what I wanted), and she gave me some great suggestions. I pretty much trusted her with the details, and she gave me exactly what I didn’t even know I needed! My hair looks fantastic. Jodie has a lot of natural talent and potential. She knows her stuff about hair. I’m so glad I got to work with her, and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Katie did a fantastic job with our end-of-tenancy clean. The tenant had left the property in an absolutely horrendous state, but Katie quickly took care of everything. Her communication was amazing from start to finish, and she was incredibly friendly and professional. She arranged for rubbish and furniture to be removed and disposed of, followed by a deep clean—all at short notice. The transformation was incredible—the place was a million times better afterwards! I will be recommending Katie and Maids of Cheshire to all my friends and family.”

“We have ordered food from Great Indian kitchen quite a number of times and have always been a happy customer. We love their food so much that we opted for their catering service for our daughter’s baptism event. Everyone loved the food and it was a pure delight. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good Indian tea specially their chicken Hyderabadi and Samosa which are almost like Delhi style.”

You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about both the quality of the coffee and the experience of everyone who walks in. Oli in particular has this effortless way of making the space feel welcoming, friendly, and his attentiveness is very wholesome. He remembers people’s preferences, checks in with guests thoughtfully, and the whole atmosphere runs smoothly under his watch. The drinks are consistently excellent, the service is efficient but personal, and there’s a calm, professional energy even during an influx. If you’re looking for a spot where you’re treated like a valued regular rather than just another customer, this is 100% it. Highly recommended!”

“What an amazing B&B. Sharon and Dave were simply wonderful hosts, with my family descending on them for the weekend for a nearby wedding. The beautiful flowers on the door were a good omen that we were in safe hands. The decor in the cottage was lovely and the whole place was well maintained. Sharon did a great job providing breakfast for all of us and they made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely break from urban life, would definitely recommend to others and I'd happily stay there again!”

“The best breakfast sandwiches around! Unlike anywhere else I’ve tried, they use high quality buns and toast them which is so much better than the cheap white rolls found in most places. The quality of the bacon and eggs is also amazing. Great pit stop on our dog walks.”

“Sigiriya in Manchester is hands down the best Sri Lankan restaurant we’ve experienced in the UK so far! Just a 20-minute drive from Liverpool, it’s worth every minute of the journey. “Had a lovely experience at the village cafe today, was greeted by the lovely waitress ella who seated us immediately alll the staff were so lovely and there was no wait with our food, which tasted absolutely amazing i ordered the Breakfast wrap which was absolutely delicious and the smoothie was so yummy. “This is our 2nd visit here ( we dont live locally) so our visita are far apart. The food on both occasions was delicious. We shared the CAMEMBERT for two, with 4 slices of toasted Ciabatta and red onion relish. Extremely tasty. I had the Lentil Cottage pie with vegetables. Really tasty. Hunters chicken was very tasty too. We ate outside. Then went inside for a coffee and to investigate this lovely old house. I read and looked at the photographs on the walls and found out it had belonged to The Boddington Family. Staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly.”

“Very impressed. Visited on a Sunday and took advantage of the 'Sunday Offer' menu which is £15.95 for two courses. Considering the size and quality of the meals this really is fantastic value. All food was excellent. Special mention to the girls waiting on, who were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.”

I also liked that they used paper packaging, which is more eco-friendly compared to plastic. The portion sizes were generous, and the meal offered great value for money.
