“Food was SO good. Came with a friend, we were both craving Ethiopian, got the spicy doro wat and the mild lamb, and both were incredible. We practically licked the plates clean. The injera was clearly fresh and wonderfully spongy, lamb was very tender and doro wat is one of the best I’ve had outside Ethiopia. Food is reasonably priced, portions are generous, the decor is homely and our waiters were super friendly, will definitely drop by again next time!! :)”

“Without this place, Chorlton would be really lacking in good east Asian food options. The food here is fire. The Bun Cha (fishcake noodle soup) is the one to order; the flavour in that broth really is something special! You can tell these guys really care about the food. I wish the papaya salad was spicier & funkier but that might just be me. Either way it's still fresh & delicious.”

There were good local followers of real ale beers. The staff/owners were really good and knew their real ales. There was also a smashing quiet real ale outdoors drinking area at the rear of the pub. “I had to write this review straight away, as it was such a pleasure to visit a pub where we were met so warmly, the cask beer range produced in house is excellent ( Tried two & both very drinkable & very reasonably priced ) It was just a shame I had a train to catch otherwise I would have stayed! I will definitely be back & can only recommend! (Trains roughly every half hour from Manchester lovely small beer garden which is a sun trap!”
