“Great shop lovely staff nice people wanting to help you”
“I would like to share my experience today while visiting this store. I am a wheelchair user and was in Asda Cafe when the lift broke down. I cannot thank Claire ( cafe manager) and the following staff Shad, Ollie, Andrew, Phil, and Sharon enough as they arranged for me to be carried downstairs safely. I also had a free drink while waiting. Thank you xx”
“Great service and very helpful staff. I am a regular visitor, sometimes to get lunch and sometimes to place larger orders for my office. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Libby, Tilly, Beka and Ivan for helping with my most recent large order.”
“ASDA Longsight is a supermarket located on Stanley Grove, Longsight, Manchester, M12 4NH. It offers groceries, general merchandise, a pharmacy with late hours, and services like photo printing and key cutting , Main thing is ample parking is available at the store.”
“Not sure if it's this store or the other one in stockport doing the home deliveries too my address. But the past 3 times I've been extremely impressed!! Only on the first order did I not get the main item needed. But did get plenty of other item. Where as other stores limit certain items you can buy to something stupid like 3 sainsburys hasn't. They also stock in a pure juice no others seem too. All I want to do is to be able to eat healthy. I have mobility problems & some other health issues so home delivery is a must for me. I've been able to buy certain items for my monthly shop ( as that's how I'm paid) & get them all. With other stores I was being limited on the stuff I actually needed & forced to buy stuff that wasn't good for me to get to minimum spend & then on day of delivery all the health items I'd only ordered for were always out of stock. Well not here im able to load up on healthy items in bulk & get them also. On top of that I had really begrudge the extreme price increase other stores had made on fresh fruit on veg but with sainsburys at least I'm getting veg that's the same price as other companies but it's coming Twice the size & it's shelf life is Amazing . Last order I had several lettuces and they lasted 3 weeks in the fridge so I was able to eat them all. None were binned. I've only had a few of their own brand stuff so far like the Hot chocolate but it was great. I've invested in their cat litter which was low on stars but can't be worse than asdas which is why I've been buying expensive brands for a while but their quality has gone down. I'm so impressed. I booked this over a week in advance for when I get paid & was worried there might be none the items by then nut every single item arrived. Oh & a extra bonus despite I need the cheaper delivery which can spread over 4/5 hour time limit. Guy arrived first thing 6:30am this morning. And was a absolute star..I jad so many heavy items to throw in stairs cupboard which is now filled to the brim. EXCELLENT SERVICE FROM SAINSBURYS DELIVERY!!! Please don't ever change this level. Keep it coming with good quantities of needed & healthy items”
“you dont know food if you have not been here, great store with very fruit and veg you can imagine from all over the world that tastes X100 better than the big chain supermarkets. do your stomach a favour and GO!”
“Ben on self checkout helped me with so much patience . He is good the best customer service . Thanks for your Help Ben .God bless you mate . Asda should hire more good employees like him cheers”
“Hey. I forgot my jacket/raincoat tonight at the billing counter and trying to contact through mobile. Can i come tomorrow and will i be able to get it? So sorry. Thanks The staff is super nice though.”
“A handy store for locals, with a nice selection of products (including some random stuff you wouldn't expect in a small shop!), regular markdowns on goods which is really helpful in the run up to pay day, you can get entire meals for 50p sometimes. The staff are always very friendly and chatty too, lovely bunch of people.”
“This store has recently gone under new ownership. The previous owners were alright but some of the staff working the tills weren't the friendliest. Now under the new ownership, I personally have noticed the man who is behind the counter is really friendly and nice and chats to you sometimes. He clearly cares about this store as I have seen him cleaning the exterior and interior of this store during my visits and the previous owners I never saw them doing this. The store has been upgraded quite a bit with more variety of items to choose from and the whole back section is now a fridge unit with tons of drinks and dairy products to choose from. Currently I think the store is heading in a better direction to what it used to be like under the previous owners and I hope the new owner stays and keeps up the good work as this little shop is a nice place to go to for majority of the items you would need for a small shop before getting a big shop in. Currently it really adds to this side of Handforth making it a nice alternative to walking into town to go to the little Tesco there or the spar for your small shop. Would definitely recommend this place and they also sell some items you probably wouldn't find elsewhere like I've seen Takis crisps which are from America. Overall a really nice little shop.”
“This is my favourite supermarket. The staff are so helpful, great range of items, dairy products, foods, chocolates, breads and cakes, newspapers, magazines, stationery, clothing for adults and children, make-up, fresh vegetables, flowers and much more. They have an indoor eat-in restaurant as well. Fantastic . Thank you”
“First time in here to post a Vinted item, as I am new to this the chap behind the counter was super helpful ( you're supposed to do it yourself on a machine and I'd not used it prior) , he did it for me whilst explaining too, but he said he'd do it everyone as its no myther. It costs nothing to smile and I will start using this shop more now as it looked well stocked !”
“I’m regular visit to this store, all employees here are very courteous with all my needs which saves me time and money not having to search/strip the store looking for what I need”
“The shop is clean, airy and well set out with a wide range of products. There is always something new in stock. This is my local "corner shop" Owners, Linda and family are always welcoming and ready for a chat but they don't tolerate bad manners or those who don't wear a mask. Together with the long opening hours, this is a great shop, I definitely recommend it. Photos are of the new range of savoury snacks in stock..... Delicious!”
“Amazing bread and friendly staff”
“I am so glad this store opened in Media City. It was badly needed. I come in here nearly every day for groceries. I’m never disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially if I get stuck with the self service tills. There is a wide range of goods available, certainly enough to keep you going if you live in Media City. I would recommend getting the Co-Op App and becoming a member. It only costs £1 and you get lots of savings on your shopping. All you need to do is scan your bar code when you pay and you’ll see the savings. The store is situated near several apartment buildings and there is a car park and two hotels next to it. There are also many bars and restaurants nearby too so it’s a handy stop after an evening out. There are often price reductions in the evenings too if you’re looking for a bargain. A great place to shop. Thank you to the Co-Op staff and thanks for reading”
“Lovely lady dark hair pony tail. She was so unbelievably kind, my shoe broke and lady that served me made makeshift shoe for me. Thank you.”
“I am very satisfied with the shop! Just I would like to find more products for beauty and hygiene! Stafffs are very kind and prices are not bad.☺️”
“Nice cafe with usual Tesco menu. Food excellently cooked and presented, and even the beans were hot (which in my experience of most cafes is unusual). Cheerful and efficient staff and good atmosphere. What was really good was that you ordered at the counter rather at the impersonal machines which is becoming the norm (and is the reason we tend to avoid several other Tesco Cafes).”
“Family run business. Very kind and friendly owners. You can eventually make requests and they would stock it for you. C:”
“I mainly go for my parcel delivery but it's got a well stocked array of food items and other items that you would buy from a larger store.”
“Really good fuel quality bring my BM here as it seems to run so well on the fuel, slightly more expensive but worth the money especially the supreme unleaded out of the peal holiday seasons. Well stocked for what it is. Staff are friendly but a bit slow.”
“I'm not sure what I can say except its a good place to do the family shopping especially with Tesco clubcard to save alittle something which in this economy it isn't bad”
“Good small shop for quick shopping. Sometimes you can buy at the end of the day cheaper fruits or veggies.”
“Went in with my niece today around 11 ish and there was a lovely lady who worked there who approached me when we was paying and asked if my niece could have chocolate and said she could chose some chocolate, told her she could have it and told me not to put it through the till. I didn’t catch her name but I just want to say a massive Thankyou, my niece didn’t stop talking about it the whole way home, she was so happy. Thankyou so much!!”
“An excellent convenience store. Has a good selection of chilled goods and groceries together with household goods and alcohol. They deliver daily papers and are always in touch if the paper is delayed. Very friendly and helpful. It is also an Evri parcel drop off and there is InPost locker outside. Parking for the shop directly outside.”
“Ignore the 1 star reviews of this store. A lot of salty people who don't understand how retail works. Even during the covid pandemic, this store delivers a large range of items (from fresh fruit to home baking), friendly staff and most importantly good value for money. Some prices may seem a bit steep but what they cost in price they make up for in taste. Step in and ignore the haters.”
