From the moment we were seated, he was warm, welcoming, and attentive in the most genuine way. We both ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, and when Nadeem brought the dishes over, he took the time to carefully cut into the dums for us. The moment he lifted the lid, the aroma was incredible—and the biryani inside was beautifully cooked. Perfectly tender chicken, fragrant rice, and so full of flavour. His presentation made the experience feel even more special. Nadeem’s professionalism, kindness, and pride in the food truly elevated our first visit. “We visited for the first time on Saturday 8th November 2025 and we were served by Simona. She couldn’t have been more attentive. The service provided was excellent and right up there with the food. I had the arancini and the carbonara with sides of tenderstem broccoli and rocket. My partner had the scarpetta and lasagne. We both really enjoyed the food, particularly the dishes I picked. Simona kindly made me aware that the carbonara was traditional and not cooked with cream, which is what I expected but I do know people who have eaten a version of “carbonara” with cream who would definitely appreciate this information for their knowledge and to be aware of what they were ordering. Despite our table being booked for 7pm on a Saturday and the restaurant being very busy, we did not wait long to be served or for our food to come out. It was all well presented and perfectly cooked. I’ve already recommended a number of people to visit since our meal and we will definitely return next time we’re in Manchester.”

“Absolutely loved this hotel. It is a short walking distance from the train station, easy to access. The building looks amazing and the rooms are just fab! It is a proper hotel room but very well equipped even had a small kitchen installed giving a feeling of an RBnb so you can cook your own meals if you want. Nice and clean bathroom with some nice brands of shampoo and body wash. Also had iron and hair dryer. Oh, and the view was stunning, staff was superfriendly. Wifi was quick, easy to connect and even the staircase looks beautiful. Highly recommended accomodation if you visit Manchester.”

“Should've known that writing a review 2 days into a 4 day trip, would've come back to bite me on the back side. We stayed Monday to Thursday in November and on the Wednesday, someone knocked and entered my room without consent or without telling me who they were or why they were coming in. After I had shouted at them to get out they shut the door and walked back out of my accessible room. I got to the door and asked them what they wanted, they said they needed to fit something, never told me what though. Then proceeded to ask if I was going out that day to which I replied, im not sure. We proceeded to go out about an hour later and when we have come back the very thing that was broken, non emergency, was fixed. Again no one asked me to enter. No one asked for consent to enter the room id paid £677 for 3 nights. This is not deemed as an emergency because if it was, you have the right to tell me that and ask for my consent to enter. None of this was done. Id went down to reception who agreed it was out of line. I could've been in a wheelchair, In the shower, deaf, naked, anything, none of which was taken into account account. I was told there was no management there at the time and that I should leave me email for a manager to be in contact. That didn't happen for some days so I took to the IHG app which was also useless because a member of management - James- at the Holiday Inn Manchester told me that they dont correspond with one another so whatever they'd offered me in compensation has nothing at all to do with what theyre willing to do, which is nothing. Id suggest if you have any accessible needs, you do NOT book her as if there is any issues, they fail to deal with them, ignore emails and won't accept or compensate for this mistakes Ive left my initial review there so you can see the stark difference between the two in literally 12hrs Fantastic experience at the holiday inn. I brought my client as we were going to look at canal street etc. I had requested that the bed was made up as 2 singles and it wasnt but they quickly got me another bed and made it up for me. We had I think whats called an accessible room, and the room was stunning. Had all the plug sockets you could need along side usb charging ports. Plenty of lights along side a uv light in the bathroom. Spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy and the rooms were warm. They also had a bath along side a shower. Breakfast was amazing”

“Relaxed little place, absolute gem for sushi, and I have to callout the cocktails - they're so affordable and are yummy. I've been here so many times now with different friends and even just once for a few cocktails. Always been excellent. Absolutely addicted to the salmon sashimi bowl, my definite go to. The platters are amazingly worth it (I used to live in London so...), portion size was SO GOOD, quality SO GOOD (see pics) Never get hot food here so can't really comment but can confirm it smells and looks yummy.”

They gave me their time and were genuinely interested and could not have done more to help me. I cannot praise them enough. Their conduct, behaviour, attitude and persona(s) shall keep me coming back to [and frequenting] this Establishment often. The food is of the highest quality, but you'll just have to take my word on that and go and sample [it] for yourself! You won't regret it... I don't want to spoil the surprise! The table(s) are far enough apart so as to maintain a conversation without feeling overlooked or eavesdropped on. The Establishment is clean and the decor is tasteful. “This place brings back such nostalgia and memories from when I was studying in Liverpool. Of course, I was ecstatic when I heard they opened a branch in Manchester. Nothings changed fortunately, I still get my large mix and match combo with katsu curry and sweet chilli chicken (best combo) and the portions are always super generous so it’s always comfort food to me. I do wish they did onigiri at this branch though! 10/10!”

“I've eaten a lot of Chinese takeaway in my 25 years, across several continents, some good, some terrible, some of questionable meat source. However, I can whole heartedly say that I have NEVER enjoyed a plate of food MORE than I did after ordering from here. Crispy beef with chilli sauce - not too spicy, salty or sweet, solid serving 10/10 Special fried rice - balanced, meaty and with full size perfectly cooked prawns 10/10 Salt and pepper chips - sensational 10/10 Chicken and sweetcorn soup - to die for 10/10 Delivery time - beat the just eat time by 15 minutes 10/10. Not only do I recommend this take away, I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else. Thank you China delight!”
