“Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. Paired with a bottle of their delicious white wine, it was a meal to remember. So memorable, in fact, that we ended up enjoying a second bottle as we lingered over dessert. Speaking of dessert—what a treat! The Wye Valley Rhubarb Crumble was the perfect balance of tart and sweet, while the Pistachio Soufflé was light, airy, and full of flavor. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. Brasserie Blanc is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience we’ll fondly remember and gladly recommend. Can’t wait to return!”

“My family visited to celebrate both my mother’s and daughter’s birthdays yesterday. We chose the early evening menu and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. What really stood out to us was the fantastic service from our waiter Thomas. He was patient, accommodating and attentive. His colleague Kelsey was also friendly and warm. I don’t usually write reviews but the staff here are fantastic. Small touches like bringing colouring pencils for my daughter and sincere interactions with us made the place feel very welcoming. The food itself was excellent but the staff set a standard that many other restaurants could learn from. We will definitely return!”

“Needed a new takeaway as a lot have really gone down hill in Tameside. Tried herb and spice and never looked back. Curries and tandoori starter was amazing. The lamb is delicious, best I’ve tasted. Keep up the good food and we’ll keep coming back!”

“Cracking place in an up and coming area of Stockport. Great vibe inside with plenty of seating. Good selection of food on the menu with gluten free option. Cocktails and wine choices. Service was quick, friendly, Wendy was just lovely and made us feel looked after, thank you! Lovely style of decor with art and lighting. Food was great and tasty, well presented. We had the tapas and cocktails. The squid was delicious! Very reasonably priced. Definitely going to return and good start to the evening before walking into the centre for drinks in other bars.”

“We were looked after by Felix who was very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and we were kindly given christmas bubbly and a happy birthday tiramisu as it was an 80th birthday celebration. Will definitely return. Perfect venue for pre bridgewater Hall meal as its literally a 3 minute walk and there's a reasonably priced small ncp car park opposite ginos too.”

“A truly wonderful place for an authentic Italian meal and fabulous atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cosy and welcoming. Although there are a few Domus Italia or Casa Italia restaurants in Manchester the Didsbury one does not feel like it part of a chain of faceless restaurants. It has a family run vibe and individual atmosphere. It's not a big place but that makes it so much nicer.”

“I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.”

“I ordered from Burger Stop on Uber Eats and it was honestly the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The food arrived hot, fresh and really well packed. The burger had great flavour, the toppings were spot on and the chips were still crisp when they arrived. Delivery was on time and the order was exactly right. I’ll definitely be ordering again when I’m next in Manchester. Well done burger stop”

“Rice and Three Curries £8! I have been to quite a few Rice & 3 spots around Manchester and this takes the number 1 spot. Firstly it gets 5 / 5 on the food hygiene rating and has been around for 30 years. Really convenient location for Northern Quarter and Picadilly area and although there are only four tables in the restaurant when we went at lunchtime there was one available and most people take the food away with them. Really generous portion size and everything is made fresh order, so although it does take a little bit longer to serve the food, you know everything is cooked fresh”

“Lovely, small hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub too, Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night for the standedge tunnel canoe trip. Stayed here on Friday night and then the owner gave us a lift to marsden on sat morning to join the canoe trip. Diggle end of the tunnel is 200m from the hotel. Recommended.”

“We tried the new Asian fusion menu and all the food was 10/10. We had the chicken jalfrezi and vegetarian lahori chana (chickpea dish), perfect with the mango lassi and pina colada mocktail. Will definitely be returning, can’t recommend enough!”

“My grandsons blessing was held in the Nuns Room, it was a perfect venue. Recently refurbished it had charm and character and was beautifully presented. Our buffet was delicious, we made our choice on Mathews advice, it was perfect. The staff are all so flexible. They are polite and friendly , nothing is too much trouble. A perfect venue !! “We've recently moved into the area and decided to give this takeaway a try. Absolutely beautiful food, generous size portions, authentic and delicious. The standard is restaurant quality at takeaway prices. In fact, better than some Chinese restaurants I've been to! Love the Szechuan Aubergine!! The owners are lovely, humble and friendly. Highly recommend this family takeaway. You won't be disappointed.”

“We enjoyed another great meal at La Lupa on 9th Feb. I was a little concerned from the recent poor reviews, and while the service is slow the food was as good as ever. The bruschetta, pizzas and meatball spaghetti were amazing! Oh and the tiramisu was great! Although the service is slow I actually quite enjoyed not being rushed to order and so it made for a very relaxed evening.”

“We had a meal here on Saturday night to celebrate Mothers Day with the in-laws. We cannot fault anything. Service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the drinks menu was great. I had the prawn salad to start and the lamb for main. All perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with everything on offer. I generally find beers in restaurants are very average on choice, and especially draught beer in restaurants to be flat, or not poured correctly, but I was in for a surprise. Not just the fact they had Neck Oil on the menu on draught, but it was a very good pint. If I had to give 6 stars I would. Very impressed.”

“Really impressed with this place. The staff were genuinely hospitable and professional – made us feel welcome and served us with a smile throughout. The food was spot on. Starters were great, especially the lamb chops, but my personal favourites were the fish pakora and naga wings – packed with flavour. Curries were classic British Indian restaurant style, just how I like it when eating out. What really stood out for me was the calm, cosy vibe. Even though it was nearly a full house, it didn’t feel chaotic or noisy like some buffet places. Staff managed the floor well and created a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back.”
