“The Smoker looks great after the recent renovation, but still retains its quaint, welcoming old coach House feel. The menu was superb. We each had something from the specials board, mine was chicken with potato cakes, topped with a mustard sauce. The food was excellent value, well presented and was really tasty. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, great beer selection. I'd recommend the smoker to anyone wanting a meal out with friends or family.”

Food came within 40 mins and was probably the best curry we’ve had on takeout for a long time. We ordered the set meal for two. Really tasty food and will definitely be ordering from them again.”

“Had an amazing experience at Gourmet Burger Kitchen! Max was outstanding- very attentive and thoughtful. He guided us through the menu,and made sure our preferences were looked after throughout. We had the Smoky Clucker and Rocketman burgers—both packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The Oreo Shake was easily the best we’ve ever had: thick, delicious, and great in quantity. The Onion Rings were unbelievably good (I’m definitely coming back for them!), and the Garlic Mayo tasted wonderfully authentic. The overall experience felt like fine dining, and the small touches like providing tap water made it even better. My girlfriend and I had a lovely time and left extremely satisfied. Highly recommend—great food, great service, great atmosphere!”

“We only order delivery or pick up, so I can't say much about the sit-down service, but the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is phenomenal and always scorching hot, extremely reasonably priced for the quality, and we've always been greeted warmly. One of the few places in the area that does paneer as a main dish, which is a big plus in our veggie family!”

“We stayed at this hotel as a night out delayed Valentine’s Day. The hotel is very tastefully decorated with comfortable surroundings. The room we stayed in was spacious with a nice bath tub and freestanding rainforest shower. The bed was extremely large and very comfortable however, my only gripe with the whole stay is that the pillows were quite thick and uncomfortable, we ended up getting cricked necks. When making the booking, I mentioned that it was our first night out in 6+ months since my mother in law fell ill and we were celebrating Valentine’s Day a few days later and the staff left us some chocolates, balloons and rose petals scattered around the room. It really made a nice touch to our stay!”

From the moment of stepping through the doors and into the reception area, you are made to feel so welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable and the high end finish for a standard room was exceptional. We loved it! The food was excellent, too! As for the staff, well, ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Nothing is too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel! Special mention needs to be given to Billy behind the bar for his help, patience and guidance with 'something technical' that left me able to use a new mobile phone purchased from the Tesco store next door! So, location wise the hotel is ideally situated and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants!”

“So I attended the Residences namely the West Tower For An Appointment, I have seen the 4 Towers(North, South, East and West) known as "The Residences" from Deansgate and from the Air when I was flying back into Manchester Airport from my Honeymoon and honestly couldn't believe how tall and huge the Towers are when you are stood next to them looking up. Parking was abit awkward as there is only limited parking but eventually I got a parking space and headed inside for my Appointment and I was greeted by a Member of Reception Staff who offered me and Coffee and politely asked me to take a seat which I did. Absolutely beautiful Lobby/Reception area, Super Modern, Charging ports for USB And USB - C type etc for you to work for your Laptop etc Toilets were spotlessly clean, Polite and Friendly staff and management, Beautiful Building, High Specifications apartments and a professionals dream. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆”

“We did the Rhine River cruise on the Emerald Destiny in April of 2025. It was a wonderful experience. The boat is comfortable, and the crew greets you with, “Welcome Home!” The service on board, the friendliness and professionalism of the crew, the food and excursions made for what is truly the experience of a lifetime. It was our first trip to Europe (and may be the only one we get to take), and we couldn’t have been happier.”

Usually just buy my milk and the odd chocolate fix but essentials there too and open when they say they will be. Would love it if they started doing more services like evri and yodel but have recently got an inpost outside so that’s a start :)”
