“What an amazing Vets. We were so pleased with the care and treatment our dog Ben received. He is an extremely anxious terrier when it comes to vets, but everyone made Ben feel so welcomed and calmer and he was amazing. He was treated with the utmost care and compassion as if he was their own pet. Every pet that came in was made to feel special. Amazing people. “I couldn’t recommend Tabley Brook enough. My dog Bobby has been going to daycare once or twice a week for nearly 2 years now. He also stays there if I am on holiday. Bobby absolutely loves going to daycare and I know he’s in good hands there which makes me feel at ease. Jonathan, Kate, Jackie and all the other members of staff are so lovely and Bobby loves them aswell which is a bonus! I wouldn’t ever take him anyway else.”

“Catsworth House is a delightful cattery , very well organised immaculately clean and welcoming Andrea takes an personal interest and responsibility for all her guests. Our 2 cats were a little nervous at first but under Andrea's tender care they soon settled. Catsworth is top of our list for the care of our cats for our future trips away. Many thanks”

“So this is a bit late, but i went away on holiday for 3 weeks and booked my large cockapoo and cocker spaniel in together for the duration… Keepers were fantastic, they put my worries at rest over a phone call as i’ve never boarded them before. They were collected and dropped off which made it a hassle free process for us, and the dogs were just as always - no sulking!! “I can’t recommend Medivet in New Mills enough! Every staff member we spoke with was so friendly, supportive and kind. Our vet really went above and beyond, she took such care with my dog and took the time to go through everything with me. When it came to getting medication, the woman at the desk was so lovely and again, really took her time to go through everything with me to ensure I felt confident with what was required. You can tell everyone working there is so passionate about what they do. I feel incredibly lucky to know this incredible team is a phone call away when it comes to looking after my dog as I know he is in such good hands. Thank you to the team at Medivet New Mills.”

Helen, the vet, is well known to me as both knowledgeable and caring. She is the reason I use this practice and she didn’t disappoint. She diagnosed, reassured and prescribed as needed and was both caring to Betty (my dog) and reassuring regarding my concerns. One couldn’t ask for more and I would highly recommend this practice to any caring owner of pets,”

“We came to Don and the team at Dogwood Referrals in June 2023 after our 9-month-old cat, Edward, was hit by a car, leaving his legs in a terrible state. From the moment Dogwood took over Edward’s care, we knew he was in the best place. They successfully treated his front leg, and worked tirelessly to save his rear leg over several days, but unfortunately, the damage worsened by delayed treatment at our previous vet meant it couldn’t be saved. Don performed the amputation with incredible skill, and Edward’s recovery was amazing. The team cared for Edward—and us as emotional owners—with so much compassion. Edward healed quickly, with no visible scarring or complications, and was back to his cheerful, mischievous self within weeks. If I ever face another emergency with a pet, I will do everything I can to have them referred to Dogwood’s care.”

Vet was approachable and efficient. Follow up appointment booked there and then with reminder sent to my phone. The bill was a pleasant surprise!”
