βAmazing cottage with stunning views of the sea and harbour. The garden is beautiful too. I would really recommend this stay!β
βGreat bar, great service all the staff from Managers to waiting staff. Lovely cocktails and draught beer. Pizza plus menu is fresh and modern but more importantly, delicious. The Donard is the best pub in Newcastle without a doubt.β
βRoom a bit smallside. Location ideal. Decor topnotch...β
βAllister was there when we arrived and went above and beyond to help get us checked in and settled. Made us feel like friends and not guests. Since we arrived about the time a lot of places were closing, we ordered sandwiches that truly looked like something out of a food magazine. The room was modern from recent renovations, and extremely comfortable. We will come back again in future.β
βNo complaints whatsoever. Room was great, the breakfast was amazing and the host was lovely.β
βLovely apartment, delightful village - wonderful couple of days exploring the area from a super convenient base at Hamilton House. A charming holiday stay in a really clean, stylish and cozy apartment.β
βA Lifesaver in a Stressful Situation My family and I had a stressful start to our trip in Newcastle, County Down. After our original accommodation fell through in a very upsetting way, we were left scrambling to find a place to stay for the night. We were traveling with our dog, Bella, and in the end, had to split our family up for the first night just to have a roof over our heads. My wife, daughter, and granddaughter stayed at the original house while I, my son, and Bella the dog found another place to stay. Thankfully, the place we found was Central Apartments 3B, and it was an absolute lifesaver. The owner was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and understanding of our last-minute situation. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome during a very difficult time. The location was also perfect, it was close to the main street of Newcastle and a stone's throw away from the beach. After that first night, we were all reunited and stayed together at the other house. The contrast couldn't have been starker. While we were at the other house, we felt like we were constantly being monitored on cameras. In comparison, Central Apartments 3B felt so much more like a true home away from home. It was warm, homely, and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend Central Apartments 3B to anyone looking for a place to stay. The owner's kindness and the comfort of the apartment made all the difference in turning our stressful experience around.β
βWe stayed here for our sisters 40th birthday and the place is absolutely amazing.. every thing is very comfortable and the views from the master bedroom are breathtaking. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The wee pub a few doors up was a lively wee spot and the people very welcoming. We will definitely be booking again soon.β
βAaron from UPS in Ballynahinch was very professional knowledgeable and a gentleman. His explanation on the process involved was detailed and informative. I would highly recommend him to come out to value your property to sell.β
βThe hosts have done a fantastic job of turning a tiny space into a beautiful, comfy and cozy holiday let. We really enjoyed our stay.β
βMarie is a fantastic letting agent who goes above and beyond for her clients. First class service *****β
βSpotless place to stay, all very well organised and run. Automated check-in so doesn't matter what time you arrive, rooms are all modern and spotless with great heat. Shared kitchen and some rooms have shared bathroom. It's a 2 night minimum stay which would hinder me in the future but I would recommend. Book direct for best pricesβ
βThe best location for some quality family time and memory making. Right off the walking path to Tollymore Forest and a tranquil stay.β
βClean and tidy a comfortable place to sleep very friendly staff happy hereβ
βWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Gate Lodge. The place has bags of character and a lovely view of the Mournes. The patio and garden made a great place for a breakfast cuppa or an evening drink, and the lounge and bedrooms are cosy and comfortable. Philip was a very caring host - checking that we had settled in well and even sending my son's cuddly toy back through the post! Newcastle and Castlewellan are both nearby, providing good shopping and plenty of activity for the family.β
βWe loved the long weekend we spent in this wonderful homely cottage. Despite not having booked the hot tub, Jo and Graham had fortuitously set it up. So we and the children could enjoy, loved the fact it was wood fired. Fantastic garden space, fully utilised by the children. Walking distance to gorgeous local pub, short drive into Newcastle/Castle Wellan and the Mourns. Would highly recommend staying, the welcome pack of goodies was a delightful surprise. Thanks so much for making our stay in Maghera wonderful.β
βIdeal location, great value. Lovely rooms, decorated well for the style of the building. Staff are great. Tea/coffee supplied. Only thing let down our room was the bathroom sink as it's badly cracked but still usable, could do with a towel rail. Loads of options for breakfast close by, great views over the promenade.β
βBooked a few taxis recently, on time, well priced, friendly drivers. Def recommendβ
