“Lovely bed and breakfast and Kathleen is a wonderful host. 10min walk to middle newcastle and only a few min walk to golf course.”
“Absolutely fab perfect retreat for two days . Definitely going back .”
“What a truly fabulous 2 bed spacious apartment this is. A real Home away from home. The apartment is beautifully appointed with everything you could need. Nothing is too much for Lisa the host. She goes above and beyond. It is spotlessly clean with a lot of lovely special touches. The welcome basket was lovely with a lot of handy produce. Fresh flowers, a dish of chocolates and lots of handy condiments in the kitchen. A short easy flat walk into Newcastle Town where lovely restaurants and bars await. Villa Vinci, The Harbour Inn, Avoca and O'Hares for music. We went slightly out of town to the Maghera Inn with fantastic food. We visited the Hinch Distillery which was fabulous 40 mins away, drove the Scenic loop around the area, then went to Southern Ireland to the colourful Carlingford for fabulous seafood at The Anchor Inn and then caught the ferry back to the North.”
“Very happy with the service. Great to have somewhere to leave a small pet. John”
“I attended a motorcycle rally in Newcastle Belfast. The location and views are amazing. Look out from your window up to the hills. Breakfast is amazing, and prepared perfectly. This B&B offers great value for your money.”
“Beautiful views, lovely and comfortable cottage, ideal for for a country break for a couple.”
“We visited last summer and I am just now looking this place up to recommend to friends who are traveling soon. This is, by far, the most welcome we have ever felt in a B&B. The rooms are cozy and luxe, remodeled completely by the hosts. Books abound. Nooks to drink coffee in, space for groups, and an absolutely lovely child and pup are roaming around. Hosts picked us up from the bus station, fed us in the mornings, and took us to the foot of Slieve Donard to hike and explore Tollymore forest. We were only there a short time, but I can confidently say we will return to Newcastle and to Bryansford cottage. I believe they are adding on an event space which I am sure will only enhance the grounds. I apologize for my lack of photos of the indoor space, but just know that they are beautiful and will be up to your expectations. Attached are photos of the grounds, the forest and our hike.”
“Tiarnan was brilliant to deal with. He couldn't do enough, and we were in our new house within a month of viewing it.”
“Paul is a great guy, really good at finding the problem at hand and fixing it using acupuncture. For anyone a bit sceptical about acupuncture and needles, this is a really relaxing and enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend Paul and his practice!”
“Great Estate Agents in the local Area”
“Beautiful accommodation. Great location. Phil at Mourne Lettings very helpful.”
“What a lovely stay we had at the anchor apartments! Spotlessly clean and the host provided everything you could possibly need for a comfortable break away. Lovely views and close to pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend.”
“Stayed with 2 teenagers- great central location for exploring Co. Down and the surrounding areas. Jo communicated with us very well. Would stay again.”
“Stayed here this weekend and what a treat. The location is perfect and the house was unbelievable. Great service includes. Will be back.”
“What an amazing bed & breakfast - far better than any other b&b we've ever stayed in over the years. We were welcomed by John & Sarah as if we were old friends! They'd left tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate sachets with a kettle for us in our room together with freshly home made chocolate chip cookies and fresh milk and bottled water in our fridge. An absolutely beautiful house and garden with an extremely spacious family bedroom with a dressing room and spotless ensuite and WiFi. We also had a separate sitting room area on the landing outside our room with recliner sofas, a TV and a massive floor cushion - somewhere our family could enjoy a good game of Uno! We enjoyed beautiful views from our window over the fields towards the Mourne mountains. The breakfasts were amazing - tea, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, toast and very tasty Ulster Fries! Both John and Sarah were so welcoming and friendly, as were their 2 family dogs. Creeghduff Lodge is in a fantastic rural setting between Newcastle and Downpatrick and a short drive to Strangford from where you can cross to Portaferry by a 10 minute car ferry crossing. We couldn't recommend Creeghduff Lodge highly enough and thank John & Sarah for absolutely everything they did for us during our stay.”
“I’ve have used McMahon Commercial Ckeaning for many years The service has been excellent the cleaners are efficient and friendly and Victoria has been great to work with”
“Beautiful surroundings. Fantastic service and parking”
“Absolutely brilliant. Stayed in a gypsy caravan in their apple orchard and it was an amazing experience.”
“Beautiful place in a beautiful town. Apartment is so good, clean, great gardens, great location. But it's the small touches, extra towels, bed linen, tea, coffee, and Netflix! Couldn't ask for more. Thanks Eddie, we will definitely be back”
“Very nice room in house with spectacular views Extremely friendly and helpful hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble Highly recommended!”
“My wife and I stayed here with our baby for 3.5 months over the summer. This apartment was a home away from home for us during this extended work trip. Olivia and Kenny are very gracious hosts and helped address our every need! The location is incredible, being only a short walk from the Mourne Mountains and a quick 10-minute drive to the Ocean! I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Norethern Ireland, whether it is a weekend adventure or an extended stay, the Binnian View Apartment will not disappoint!”
“Gorgeous place to stay in if you’re hiking the Mournes. Hosts are very generous and friendly”
“Been there with my Heroes plus youth group and I got to say that I had the best time there and I'm looking forward to staying over there once again in the future.”
“I love EdenGate and the people behind this business.”
“We walked the Brandy pad walk with Peter and Paddy as our guides on a very sunny Sunday last weekend. Peter was very organised and contacted us ahead of time to ensure we were all prepared and that the walk was suitable for the whole group. He was very knowledgeable about the Mournes stopping along the way with information on flowers, the mountains and birds. We all really enjoyed the day and would recommend to others without any hesitation! Thanks Peter and Paddy.”
“Quiet location, Adelle the host was very personable- and the breakfast was probably the best I've ever had!!!”
“Great place to book your holidays and Diane is so very helpful.”
“First class service highly recommended”
