“We had such a brilliant day at Carlingford Adventure Centre, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, active, and memorable team outing! We were warmly greeted by Andrew at reception, who got us off to a great start. We chose the water activities and went kayaking with Steve, who was absolutely fantastic! He made everything easy and enjoyable, shared some local history along the way, and kept the energy high with fun games on the water. An amazing experience from start to finish—perfect for team bonding!”

Waking up to ocean views, Mountain views, grazing sheep among yellow hedges and so much peace and quiet. frank was absolutely lovely and tended to our every need. This is a special place in the Mourne Mountains with close access to many hikes and walks.”

“What a beautiful location, the Mountains right on your door step with easy access. We spent 6 nights at Meelmore Lodge. First off a big shout out to June and her staff! Lovely people, very accommodating friendly and helpful. The place was spotless, affordable for the pocket, especially in our current situation with Covid-19, it had everything you needed and nothing you didn’t, even the bunk beds where comfortable!! The rooms and shared spaces were warm and plenty of hot water for that all important shower. We all had a brilliant time and all ready one of our party has returned with their partner for a two night stay this week!! Now if ever a review was true this is that review. Well worth a stay.”

“Shop itself is a generic toy shop, the staff allow children to play with items which I appreciate as means I can see what my daughter likes. The till layout is a bit strange but it's never been hugely busy when I have visited so no issues. As for the chain itself, I appreciate the free delivery for items over a certain price, the prices of things are very competitive and I've once had reason to contact customer support due to my own mistake with an order and found them very helpful.”

“Loved this place! Set next to a quaint harbour with the Mournes as a backdrop, very picturesque. This mill still has a working waterwheel and a guide who is informative and pleasant. Well worth a visit.”

“Beautiful churches and round tower with historic graveyard. The new church and grounds are beautifully kept with a lovely lane leading up. Access to the round tower is through a field. The old church and graveyard are behind the new church. The ground is very uneven and the grass long.”

“Finally, a really good Chinese restaurant in Ireland! I don’t often eat Chinese anymore, as it is really hard to find a decent one in this country so wait until I am travelling. So when I was invited to Jade Garden, it was a great little surprise. You always know if a place is decent by the staff behaviour and attitude, the outside, the glasses and the internal environment. If a good level of attention is given to those areas, you can be sure it follows through across the business. Jade Garden provided attentive and efficient service, decent wine, and very tasty, well presented food. I really enjoyed the duck!!! Worth a visit. Nothing to complain about. Very good standard. Been several times since!”

“The food here is delicious!!! The service on the other hand is not so good. I literally order the same order every Saturday night £59.59 for delivery. From last 4 orders we’ve had an item missing from 3 orders(like noodles, main dish, large sauce £2.60 or higher) we’ve had to go back down even if collected or if delivered. No offer of delivery refund or even a small commentary item for the inconvenience due having keep the food warm at home ( for like 30mins by time you unpack order, realise item missing, ring them(5min phone call) & drive down and wait on ur missing item) while driving to get our missing item which has been paid for through Just Eat. First time we passed no remarks but getting a bit sick of it now and when you phone you’ve to wait like 5 mins while they talk to chefs about who made what. And then there’s no offer to deliver it after paying the £4 delivery charge. Guys we love your food but really getting fed up of this now. There’s never a mistake of an extra item in the order always something missing. We love your food but every Saturday now is will they get our order right or not!!! Please do better we love your food x”

“Myself and family have been going to the Foo Kwai on a weekly basis for over 10 years and have always had a great meal. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. Wait times for takeaways can be long on busy nights but this is a testament to just how good and popular the Foo Kwai is. Highly highly recommend!”
