“So I was holidaying in Omeath for a week, felt a vibration in my car a few days into my holidays and was getting worse each day so I was concerned about driving the journey home. FS Wheels was recommended by my airb&b host.So I drove up to them,no appointment, on the off chance. Well Frank was an absolute gentleman and very quickly diagnosed the problem, took the car in straight away and had it sorted within an hour.Cannot recommend them enough,so pleasant and chatty and professional. 5 stars⭐”

“Lovely little castle (or really an old "tower house") within walking distance of Downpatrick. Great picnic area for families, dog-friendly with a spout and water bowl available. Beautiful gardens too!”

“We stayed here with x3 other family's in the main building. Couldn't fault it, it had everything we needed for a group getaway. There is a brilliant covered area for bbqs if it rains although thankfully we were blessed with beautiful weather. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely friendly staff. Would definitely stay again!!”

“The gardens and butterfly house are well worth looking at. The house isn't very big, but there's plenty to see. We brought a picnic and supplemented it with tea coffee from the cafe. Sat at the picnic tables amongst the many peacocks and enjoyed the sun. Gardens and maze are beautiful.”

“Great experience. We did this as a stag do and had a great laugh throughout. The hosts/tour guides were great, funny and friendly. We did archery, axe throwing and got to walk around the grounds and were educated by where certain filmed scenes happened... All whilst dressed up as people from GOT. Would highly recommend for a good laugh with a group of friends.”

“Halfords are good for supplying car light bulbs but they are extortionate for charging prices of £11 to fit a bulb. I needed two bulbs fitted and charged me £22 for this. I wish I was able to fit them myself. Terrible and greedy”

“A great example of a tower house. The site is well documented, has an associated parking area on a major road. It is free, open to public to walk up inside. I really enjoyed my visit, looking at all the original features and comparing to the information boards. Toilets available on site (not in castle as they are covered with plastic). The outside may be open 24 hours but IIRC the hours for going inside were 10:00 to 16:30.”

“If you want a friendly place to get a good feed, you couldn’t do much better. We use this wonderful spot as a place to meet for a coffee before kayaking the coastline. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is lovely and the food ie hearty and delicious.”

Since then Ryan has completely eradicated my knee injury through a mixture of message and specific muscle exercises. You will receive expert therapy and an education here plus, the craic is mighty. “We stayed in jimmys cottage for 5 nights. Our two dogs were more than welcome which is mainly why we booked here. The view of the mountains is fantastic, we were able to walk into tollymore by going down the lane. Cottage is roomy and really clean. The milk and biscuits were a lovely gesture. Jacinta was always available to answer queries, much appreciated. We were able to close the gate and it was safe for the dogs to run around. Jimmys is detached and fully enclosed. We will miss the view and the tranquility and would definitely stay here again.”
