“Used Windsor Lodge for Mums funeral wake .The food was outstanding & there was plenty to keep everyone satisfied. Tea & Coffee were on tap all afternoon. The Tea rooms are very vintage in their appearance & beautifully quaint .Mel & her team did an amazing job today & made a sad day easier to cope with.”

“Lovely one night stay to go to a wedding at Dodford Manor- so glad we chose here instead of a characterless hotel! Lovely host and lovely little dog made us feel very welcome. The location is stunning and the room was beautifully presented and clean. We had a delicious home cooked breakfast delivered to us in the morning- the fruit compote was especially yummy. Would definitely recommend”

“I have recently discovered Kunis and they are really good. I would definetaly recommend them. Drinks I'm not a coffee drinker but I'm big on chai Latte and they do a really nice chai Latte. Better than the other shops in the area in my opinion. Food The food is great too we had waffles which were great, they have a good balance of toppings that are not sickening for an adult. I can't wait to enjoy another waffle there. This is my new chai Latte place. Staff The owner guy was really nice and this place deserves our support. The staff are friendly and they have always been very prompt with making drinks and food. Atmosphere They have a really fun atmosphere with all the comic book stuff. They have a lot of seats too. The big minion is fun. Opening Hours I think it's great they are open until 8pm because I've often been in Daventry after 6pm and been craving a drink and the other shops close. Cups They have their own cups which is cool and they have a lot of sizes going up to Mega size. The prices are well worth it which I like. I was starting to feel ripped of in other shops. Update Been here many times now and the waffles and drinks are always great. It's defiently a great place to stop by.”

“A very quiet store as it was new year's day. Many bargains at half price. We bought Christmas cards and wrapping paper at half price for next Christmas together with one orctwo gifted for next year at knock down price. The ice rinkbwas busy with you families. The staff were surprisingly cheerful give it was the day after new year's eve!”

“We had Fish Chips Garden Peas & Tartare Sauce The seating area was very clean and the food well presented The meal cooked perfectly the fish coated in a crispy light batter. Thank You Chef also excelent service by the waiters All at a reasonable cost. What more can you ask. We throughly enjoyed our Friday lunch in delightful surroundings. We will most definitely be back Martin & Jacqui.”

“Don't know what has changed here from 3 years back but its like night and day. The one 3 years ago was not nice, can't remember what it was but it was the last one I ordered. Today's delivery i can't find fault , excellent quality meat, superb flavours love the egg in the plain noodles and beansprouts, not many add that bit it works. Crispy shredded chilli chicken just the right spice level nice to have the green pepper in it. Chicken with orange needs a lil more sauce maybe add it to your extras the same as the lemon sauce? but again nice crispy chicken. So yeah whatever you've changed please keep it this way. The food I just ate was exceptional.”

“What a gem of a pub! So deceiving from the outside, looks like a small locals pub that opens up to a larger welcoming pub! Great range of beers, an open fire, pool table and live bands, what more can you ask for….. Oh did I mention that they have a food outlet visit and operate from the car park? That’s why we visited and so glad we did! Great pub well worth a visit and will be back again.”

“We had a fabulous afternoon tea, Quite a bit came home in boxes provided by the very amiable staff. A great variety of food provided and they made appropriate substitutions for my wife's allergies. Agree about the comment on the toilet access, but that does not detract from the high standard of food.”

“Always nice food from Canton. The best chicken balls in Daventry. Nice and crispy and not soggy and too much batter on the inside like other places. Curry is good too. Never disappoints us and we are regulars. Really nice owners and good prices.”

“The room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.”

“Pop in here for bits we run out of and to let little one choose a treat.. good selection of all u will need plus hot food stand and sell hot pies etc good selection of most things inc drinks .. ok parking area csn get a bit tight.. Isles quite narrow but u csn get a pram etc down them”

I have a low tolerance for spice and requested a non-spicy vermicelli dish, which they were able to accommodate without any issues. The vermicelli was cooked to perfection, and the flavours were delicious without being overpowering. I will definitely be returning for more of their dishes. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a customizable and tasty Chinese takeaway option.”

“I rarely use the Daventry branch but each time I do the staff are nothing but polite and welcoming. This morning I was ordering a takeaway coffee at the machine when a member of staff went out of her way to warn me about the floor being potentially slippy. She was extremely polite and was lovely having a friendly chat. Plus the coffee was as good as always.”
