“My Grandson attended Towcester Tots until recently. I used to collect him very often at the end of the day. He was so happy there and looked forward to going. The staff were amazing. So helpful and kind. Can't sing their praises enough.”

“Me and my partner finished our dance lesson up the road and popped in on the off chance they were serving food past 8pm. The gentlemen I spoke to was friendly and inviting, our dog also was allowed in. The food looked lovely and tasted great! the gin cocktail I had was great. The local atmosphere was great. Definitely a lucky find!”

“Lap of lights x2. If you’re a fan of F1 or just motorsport in general and a fan of Christmas. Then this is the one for you. Christmas feel and drive on a race track that legends have driven. Warm up your tyres, and Go Go GO at a leisurely 5mph see the lights, the cars and the spectacle that is Silverstone circuit lit up like a Christmas Tree. Then head to pit lane and fuel up with Christmas food, drinks (none alcoholic for the drivers of course) and treats in a pit garage that could tell many stories.”

“Visited with a friend today, received a warm welcome. Food arrived in good time, nice and hot and portions are a good size. The sea bass was delicious and I loved my pudding with hot custard! I've been recommended the Prawn starter which will be my next choice . Thank you for a lovely meal. Parking was plenty and easy to access.”

“This is a hidden gem of a pub. You can stay overnight in your campervan, they have electric hook up and WiFi. The owners could not do enough for us, we rang to book and was told they stop serving food at 16:00hrs on a Sunday, but if we were late they would sort us out for food. We arrived an hour after they stopped serving but still welcomed us and let us choose whatever we wanted from the menus and the food was delicious. The locals were very friendly as was the staff/owners who could not do enough for us. We will definitely return when we are back in the area. 10 out of 10.”

“Highly recommend!! Just wish we lived closer so we could come more often. We had a table of 7 with 4 different dishes and they were all fabulous. All the food came out together and was piping hot. The service was great! Very friendly and attentive ☺️”

“I really enjoyed my time here. Went for a family meal, and there was a wide choice of food for everyone. Quality of the food was great, and nobody had any issues. The venue was clean and welcoming, but maybe a little on the cold side with the change in temperature that day - but cant really blame them for that. Staff were all really nice and gave a great quality of service. The venue was great for us as a family to come, but it would equally be fine for just a couple to go to. My only point for improvement would be the beer selection wasnt exactly to my taste, but it might be to yours. Will definitely be making a trip there again, and hopefully when the canal museum is open too.”

“Been a customer for over 10 years, and a pleasure to do business with. Real craftsmen when it comes to mending expensive shoes, eg the top of my suede loafers was splitting and repaired with new suede, almost invisibly……. and they can change watch batteries, even on premium brands,”

“Great lunch. Arrived just as they opened and orderes small plates. Food came fast and hot. Excellent fish cake and calamari. Chorizo was not at all spicy with pleasing flavour. Good BBQ wings and honey whipped feta was great. No pic of the fiash because we ate it before I thought to take a photo. Great lunch sitting outside in the September sunshine”

“Fantastic club! You can book a try-dive in the pool to see if scuba diving’s for you and have chance to chat with some of the instructors. If you get the bug (like I did), you can join the club and start training towards internationally recognised qualifications. I’ve dived all over the world without having to do expensive resort-based courses, but who knew the UK had such amazing diving?! Best of all, the people are brilliant – I joined over ten years ago and have made some incredible life-long friends.”
