“Couldn’t recommend highly enough!! TC Kitchens recently helped us renovate our kitchen. This involved knocking down a structural wall to make an open plan kitchen diner. TC were amazing throughout and took care of everything. Alina worked with us on the design process - she made this really easy and the 3D render helped us to visualise the space. Lindsey and Sam then helped us plan out a schedule that worked around us. Tony and the rest of the building crew were fantastic. We were living at home when the work was taking place - Tony made sure we had some elements of a functioning kitchen for as long as possible. Neat and tidy, very high end workmanship and played very close attention to detail. Couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen, highly recommend!!”

“We love our new billiards table! Mark has done a fantastic job restoring the table and has taken the time to explain the process and ensured we are happy at every step of the process. The table is truly stunning. Tom the delivery driver also worked meticulously to put the table together and gave advice that I'm sure will prove invaluable. “Over 2 years ago, we got married at this location. The day was perfect. The staff were helpful throughout the planning process and the day itself went without issue. 2 years later, we came back, now with our son, for our 2 year Anniversary. Again, the staff were extremely professional, the food was worth more than what they charged, and, to help us celebrate, some items were made free for us. I cannot say just how amazing every aspect of the Woodland Manor Hotel is and the staff are amazing”

Will come again to try the single cask whisky, even though relatively young, it was unique and will have complex flavours. Very efficient serving and payment. “We really loved the food, possibly the best mex in Beds. The food was freshly cooked in front of you. Just a shame that the place is very small - perhaps that's why the food was so good with generous portions. We came again for my 67th birthday. The service and food was fantastic. Wife and I really enjoyed the meal! The owner and the staff were really friendly and made some great recommendations. Lovely authentic food!”

The ever-growing prices make it harder for both the owners and the patrons to keep these cherished establishments afloat. It’s heartbreaking to think that such vital community hubs could one day be a thing of the past. So, while this pub deserves every ounce of praise, it’s a stark reminder of what we stand to lose if things don’t change. Support your local pub—it’s worth every penny, and then some.”

A good range of options for food, the fried chicken or battered fish are excellent. Overall a great asset to have locally.”

“Great selection of drinks and a lovely view to be had from the outside seating area that overlooks the river. I've had breakfast here, helpful, happy staff that can't do enough to ensure your experience is the best it can be. After the refurbishment it looks fresh and modern. Would defo reccomend this place. “B&M home Store is located out the centre of town on the london road. set on the old st johns goods station yard there is good parking. spaces can be on the tight side with a few disabaled parking spaces by the Store. If you use b&m you will know what they sell with the aisles being a bit tight getting around when the staff are restocking the shelfs the carpark is shared by other nearby stores”

“Amazing and banging food. Lamb shish and the mix shawarma very nice hot and fresh and so tender packed with flavours. Complimented so well with their kabsa rice and yoghurt sauce. 10/10 would keep on coming back for more. Ample amount of seating available”

Probably it's combination of all: the amazing park (it's inside Bedford Park), the restaurant building (old-ish), the natural style decor & cleanliness, relax & friendly atmosphere, last but not least can order eggs benedict, which not too fancy, but quite delicious. Food fingers also available. I'm a tea drinker but not a sweet tooth person. The yogurt is rather too sweet for my liking. Wished they aren't, because I like the taste.”

“Mo's kebabs are amazing! We went for the mixed kebab, chicken shish, lamb shish, chicken doner, lamb doner, kofta, salad, 2 pitta and sauce, absolutely delicious. All came served separately so no soggy bread or hot salad. It had a charcoal Mediterranean flavour reminiscent of happy holidays. Next time we'll order 2 extra pittas and 2 extra sauce as it definitely feeds a family of four. Well done Mo!”
