“Over 2 years ago, we got married at this location. The day was perfect. The staff were helpful throughout the planning process and the day itself went without issue. 2 years later, we came back, now with our son, for our 2 year Anniversary. Again, the staff were extremely professional, the food was worth more than what they charged, and, to help us celebrate, some items were made free for us. I cannot say just how amazing every aspect of the Woodland Manor Hotel is and the staff are amazing”

“The flavour of their chicken curry was lovely, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It took about 20-25 minutes to be delivered and the driver was friendly and very quick to offer change, only wish I could have given more of a tip! We had a few duck rolls for free as we spent over £20 which I think is a nice touch as most places just give you prawn crackers. This is the first time my sister and I have ordered from here and we will definitely order our take away from here in future.”

“So yes, it is an old pool, but the pros massively outweigh the cons and there are some quite unreasonable reviews here. Pros:- 33 metre pool, Lovely staff, Lovely community vibe, Wide lanes, More flexible swimming times, Properly hot showers, Big changing cubicles (useful if you're 6ft3 like me) Decent pool temperature so you can really go for it when you swim. Cons:- It is old so there are rust marks that have built up over the decades, giving it an untidy/grubby look, although it is as clean as any other pool. Unfair and generally negative reviews about teeny things by unsympathetic people. The negative reviews about this pool stopped me trying it for 3 years and the only reason I went was because the Kempston one was closed for a period of time. It is in need of a refurbishment as it is an old pool, but it isn't any dirtier than any other pool I've been to. The one in Barnet North London is pretty much a brand new centre, and I've seen that one in significantly worse states than Robinsons due to customers being gross and disrespectful. So, if you want to go swimming in a nice, well maintained, historical pool with a great community vibe, nice respectful people, spacious lanes, is open when you want, and you can understand that it has battle scars from years of service, then this is the pool for you.”

“I’ve been registered here for years but have not needed to use the service until this year. I had been feeling worse and worse over several months and finally contacted the surgery online as it wasn’t an urgent issue. A couple of days later I received a response from Dr Kirkbride-Jamu to confirm I should have some blood tests which I was able to book in quickly. It took a few weeks to have a follow up appointment for results but as it was an issue that had built up slowly the delay wasn’t a worry so I didn’t push. Shortly before the appointment I called the surgery and asked for access to my records on the NHS app. The phone was answered quickly and the receptionist sorted it out in a couple of minutes. Within a few hours I could see the results. My immediate issue (anaemia) was discussed in the follow up with Dr Field and my prescription was sent straight to my local pharmacy. Another issue was my cholesterol which was worryingly high. Due to my age, I don’t technically meet the criteria for statins or a referral. Dr Field listened to my concerns around my family history (very early heart attacks) and said she would see what she could do. A few weeks later I had a referral to a specialist. I’m very grateful for the friendly and compassionate service from the staff at the clinic. I’ve seen so many horror stories about services in the NHS that I was worried about being fobbed off but everyone I have spoken to has listened to me and helped.”

“Don't normally do reviews , but just got off the phone from a lovely receptionist ,yes ,I did say a lovely receptionist. Her name was Rashida ,and very polite with me.although can't see a Dr for a fortnight ,she was very pleasant .”
