“I thought I did a review but clearly not . Alert this is the place to go . Service excellent on the phone in person the lady is lovely to talk to . Food out of this world well compared to any other in irthlingborough Rushden or higham we have tried The crispy shredded beef is amazing every time it's the best Highly recommended if you want to be full and have flavour . The waiting time never had a issue either maybe when busy busy 30 minutes wait . None of this 1 hour wait . Just ordering now as we speak lots of love to the family run business cheers to many more years of great food ordered by many And if your worried where to park there is a car park at the back behind the public toilets near the church if you aren't a local person and want to try . For 3 of us we spend around 30 in total and get quite a bit remember card payers order has to be 20pounds of more anything under its cash only .”

“We had an awesome time at the Flame and Thunder event. It was so much more than I was expecting, an exciting array of wacky and insane cars on the strip. Loads of extra stuff going on around the strip, monster trucks, drifting, stunt performers. Lots of food vans to pick from. They did well to keep tightly to the schedule and keep things moving despite some patches of rain. Its a great event with loads to see, definitely check it out!”

“Love this place! The food is amazing: freshly prepared and cooked, awesome quality ingredients-doubt you'd find a better quality fry up anywhere else locally, epic portion sizes too! The decor is truly unique. From Only Fools and Horses quotes and pictures to old hats, guitars and vinyls up on the walls. You'll struggle to not spot something new each time you visit. The staff are always friendly and helpful. All in all, my favourite way to start the weekend is a Jester's breakfast!”

My pizza and tira misu were gorgeous, but I was a little underwhelmed by my prawn starter otherwise I would have scored 5 stars. My wife and I had starters, mains, shared a dessert and I had 2 drinks and it came to just over £60 so really good value in my opinion Definitely worth a visit”

Now, the hotel itself, they say it's a 2-star establishment. But let me assure you, the moment you walk in, that star rating feels like a gross underestimation. The ambiance, the decor, it all gives off the air of a place that should boast at least an extra star by its name. It's a classic example of not judging a book by its cover. The dining area and bar are what I'd call an oasis of tranquility. Spacious, yet intimate enough to make one feel cozy and undisturbed. A perfect spot to unwind after a day of hustle and bustle. “my friend & 1 visited Sunday 27th July we meet every few months & like to try a new venue we're 10 years into this now and we both agreed this was one of the best Sunday lunches we've had. The staff were so friendly knowledgeable and accommodating nothing was to much trouble. The food was just fantastic, we may have to break our golden rule and return !
